Morgan 3-Wheeler
Here is my last creation! It's the famous Morgan 3 Wheeler! This neo-retro car is made by a company in the UK called Morgan, and it is inspired, even designed, like a car they've made in the 30's.
About this creation
PLEASE SUPPORT MY CREATION HERE, I WOULD BE VERY GLAD TO SEE IT AS AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET:

Thank You! 8-)

This car features some nice details, like the two tone colour scheme.

It also has:

- a working 2 cylinder engine (it should be connected to the rear wheel, but LDD is a nightmare for this, so this first modell hasn't a connection between both; but I will update it),
- front suspensions,
-movable wheels at the front (working steering will be in the next updates).

The suspension prototype (actually, I have no idea if it is working or not ... 8-S ):

I hope you liked it! Please rate & comment! 8-)

Quoting Yann (XY EZ) Hey matt thanks for commenting! I will have to rebuild the entire front I think to add a working steering. But technic is awf*ll on ldd! 8-)
If the problem you are having with Technic in LDD is getting the gears to mesh, the trick is to rotate one of the axles by "half a tooth" before trying to get it to mesh. For instance, if you are trying to mesh a 12-tooth gear, rotate it by 15 degrees (15 = 360 / 12 / 2) before trying to mesh it. Things can get a little complicated as you try to mesh succeeding gears, but if you keep track of the total rotation on each axle, it's not too hard.
Hey Matt thanks for your comment! I've already tried the "15 degree" trick, but it changed not a lot. I think my gears are incompatible ... And it isn't only the gears, but in general technic, like for example building an engine (12 cylinder engine = 1 hour) or connecting the chain parts around a gear (I had in mind to create a chain transmission, but I gave up very quickly) ... 8-)

Quoting Matt Bace I had been meaning to comment on this one earlier, but somehow forgot. Anyway, this is fantastic. I really like the details on the front end. It's great that it has a functional engine, and if you can make the steering work, that will be a really nice addition (but I can see that things might be a little tight there, so just having wheels that turn would probably be a decent compromise).

Quoting Dr. Monster Great car. Morgan 3 wheelers are crazy cool, no matter what Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear BBC) says. Nicely designed.
Thanks Doctor! I agree about the fact that 3-wheelers are cool (except the robin...); a simple fact is that by changing the tires, it will be cheaper than on another car 8-)

Quoting sam the first I have worked out all the measurements yet, but I know I'll be using these for the front wheels - http://www.bricklink.com/PL/2903c02.jpg?0 . Suspension, steering - yes. But gearboxes are too advanced for me, and use up too much space. I'm going all out on details and shaping....
When I started the project, I thought I should put these wheels, but they were too immense... Good luck! 8-)

Thanks Sam!! You could add a proper steering and gearbox and suspension to it! What scale are you thinking of? (This one is about 14 wide on the front axle...) 8-)
