Schwarzkopf Class MBT
And you thought my name was complex....
About this creation
So, the McChrystal MBT was a success with NATO countries. However, it was better suited, really, as a medium tank. A new, large, heavy, teeth grinding, femur breaking, MBT was needed to succeed all current tanks and fill in the gaps. Naturally, the only company that could do it is....Massive Dynamic Prasad Heavy Industries!

And boy did we go overboard.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
The idea behind this tank was to be solid. Really solid. Solider than solid matter. That solid. Extremely solid. Unstoppable. Solid.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Squirrel!

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
So, when it comes to weapons, this thing is packing guns. And some. We have a 150mm Main gun (which can also be switched out to rail gun, or maybe a bow and arrow, I dunno, it was in some history book or something) with a coaxial 40mm mounted directly below. And we aren't done.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
On the top of turret, we have a 50cal and a rocket launcher. I mean, why not?

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Das rockets. Dos rockets, actually. Getting multilingual there, for our customers...

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Specially built 50cal. It's made out of unique blend of ABS. It has a code word: "LEGO". Pretty secretive, I know...

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Top speed? 50. Can't say anymore.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Grills!

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
LIMBO!

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Raise the roof up. Though usually, when tanks do it, they involve SABOT rounds or something.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
I see you MIGgy!

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
I want YOU in the tank corp.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Christie's suspension, courtesy of not Christie, but Tommy Mizzone. Funny story: After I took the picture, some ant came out from behind the rock and was messing with my photo setup. So I ran it over using my tank. 'Merica. Freedom was given to that ant. Probably.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Two parts. Took three days. See, the math doesn't always add up.

And now we get to signature portion of my build. I'm going to let the Schwarzkopf explore the backyard, like all my other ground warfare builds. It's funny. Trust me.

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
I don't know how it got there either. Maybe it works like Elf on a Shelf?

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
You better recycle. Or else. *Oh, and the actual trashcan was right next to it. I'm surprised my camera could take pictures in such a stench, cause I swear those smells were so bad they were infrared...

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Do you wanna build a snowman....brick?

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
.....It doesn't have to stand upright....

Schwarzkopf Class MBT
Welcome? Boy, this is 150mm of power. So you can be considered welcome. I don't know....

Anyways, there you have it fellas. I went all out. I'm personally very, very pleased with this, and I think I managed to rectify some issues from my last tank. Yeah. And yes, I was inspired by the Polish PL-01 concept. I saw the video a few months ago. My question: why would you reveal your next top secret highly powerful tank to the world right now? I mean, I wouldn't do that....

Also. MOCpages decided to play games with me and delete all the content above this when I tried to post it. See my dedication? You can't stop Schwarzkopf. That may rhyme, I dunno, I still don't know the correct pronunciation...

Once again, thanks for watching!

Quoting Jack K Excellent tank. Looks semi futuristic, but not like a space tank. Kind of a rondo question, but how do you embed photos from Flickr? The uploader here hates my computer so I think embedding is my only option.
Thanks Jack! When I was posting, I originally forgot how to embed, but, by chance, I remembered. If you have the newest layout (or I guess even the old new one) there is a little arrow that curves and points to the right. Click that arrow, and you get several options on how to get image coding. Go to HTML, and select your size (I stuck to 500x333, as it's close to normal image size here on MP, but it's really up to you). Note that the picture has to be public on Flickr to be able to get the coding. And that should work...

Quoting Matthew Sylvan I'm taking it Jack xD Now onto the creation. It is an excellent tank, it could only be better with some camo or maybe extra equipment added onto it.
Thanks Matthew! I suppose the natural next step would be to build in some camo. Most of my parts are in light bley though, so for now, it looks like I'm sticking with what I've got. I also kinda opted out from adding too much clutter on the turret to try and make it look more stealthy. Thanks!

Quoting jack kenyon This is fantastic, even in my supposedly "unique" scale of building (take that Sylvan!) The techniques are attractive and diverse. I really think you should consider joining Divide and Conquer III. It is cold war era tech but your skills would be much appreciated. Also, you took my Squirrel pun!
Thanks Jack! I'll look into Divide and Conquer, though right now, I'm completely certain if I can join a competition, so, I'm just going to have to see. I had a feeling someone else did the thing with the squirrel. Hmm. We can have a tank duel over it ;-)

Quoting Tim C That thing looks like pure unadulterated danger, Achintya. Love the giant cannon on the front and some nice work with the functional suspension. Got a kick out of the bonus pics at the end, although it's too early for me to be thinking about Elf on the Shelf. I have one of those little devils living in my house and it comes out every year right after Thanksgiving. Gives me the creeps;) Really nice work, Achintya, and I'm glad to see you bellying up to the old LEGO table again.
Thanks Tim! I'm glad it looks dangerous; I suppose the angling really bought out the danger. I literally have no idea how that tank got on top of the propane tank. Though I heard that the hand of CEO had something to do with it... And yes, I'm back to building, which is excellent :-D

Quoting Alex Sonny Looks very modern and packs a mean punch with all those guns and bows and arrows. The clean lines resemble a Leopard 2 perhaps, but with a much bigger gun and more freedom (?).

Quoting Locutus 666 Very well done. The shape reminds me of an Leopard2 turret on an Abrahms body. Did the Prasad comp copy something??? O.O XD
Heh, well, there were some underhand dealings regarding other tanks, and I think I'll leave it at that ;-) I tried to combine the Abrams, Leopard, and Challenger into one tank, with a dash of PL-01 and Panther. Think of it as multi flavored cake :-D

Quoting Matt Bace Very nice! As I noted earlier, the main barrel indeed looks a lot like the one on the PL-01, and the shape of the turret in general is somewhat reminiscent of the Blank Panther. In any case, this MBT just looks plain mean.
Thanks Matt! Yeah, the gun was inspired by the PL-01 (though maybe a bit more practical). I didn't realize it, but yes, the turret does sorta have the square, no nonsense shape of the Panther. I suppose another selling point to use for the Koreans? :-D

Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus I am not fond of the cannon being rotated 45 degrees horizontally. octagonal-ish structures of tiles-on-travis cannons always seemed more brutal and solid to me.
Hmm. Well. Thickness was one issue. Tank guns don't need to be thick in short; they need to be proportional. I don't know if I quite follow you on your second point, but the cannon is built that way for change. And because it's stealthy....
