New sig-fig and a bit of a trip down Memory Lane.
About this creation
Today marks one year since I first uploaded a MOC to MOCpages. Where does the time go?

As a kid I had always been a huge Lego fan, but then went through the dark years until last year when I decided to get building once again. Sadly, I had already gotten rid of my childhood Lego collection (which was pretty big) and had to start all over again.

I didn't have time to create a nice, fancy build to celebrate the occasion, but I have made a new sig-fig representation of myself. Also, I thought I would link to a few of my favourite MOCs from the last year.

So here we go...

My first upload: 5867 Sith Style Starfighter

An alternative build of the Creator 5867 set. The pictures aren't great, but was quite pleased with the finished MOC, which used only pieces from the 5867 set.

One of my personal favourites: Your Father's Lightsaber

A build for The Contest Group. Contestants were asked to recreate a scene from a film or tv show. I opted for this scene in Star Wars: A New Hope. The moment that Luke begins his Jedi journey.

My most-liked MOC: Sleeping With The Fishes

A bit of dark humour makes its way into this MOC. If I had known that this would be my highest-rated build, then I'd have probably spent a bit more time on it.

My biggest MOC: TT Round 2: Sean B vs Adam Brunsting

Ok, so it's not THAT big, but at 32x32 studs it's my biggest build so far. I still love this build as it was a chance for me to use a few different techniques in one build. It was built for The LOM Group's Tourney and even though I was (deservedly) beaten in this round by Adam (Asad), I still am pretty pleased with it.

So, that's all for now. Check out some of the builds if you've got time, no worries if not.

Finally, thanks to everybody who has liked and commented on my builds, and thanks to everyone running the groups and building the MOCs (you know who you are) that have kept me coming back over the last year. I may not post very often, but I'm normally checking out the site whenever I get the chance.

Here's to many more years!
