Tiger I Ausf. E Late 1/15 (RC)
Another monsterous german kitty
About this creation
This build has to be one of my best builds so far because it incorporates more features and details than any other vehicle I have created or any of the other Tiger tanks on the internet. I have finally finished the infamous Tiger Tank, it took me roughly 3 weeks to complete this monstrosity. It weighs 10 Lb's and it is slightly larger than my E-100. It features a complete engine deck with a detaled engine based off of the real Maybach engine (i could only accommodate 8 cylinders instead of 12).

It has adjustable rear idlers, working suspension, 360 turret traverse, gun elevation and depression, working lights, 2 speed transmission, opening hatches, a crank starting mechanism for turning on the battery box, and fully detailed engine deck and engine.

The transmission has a high gear (1:1.666) and low gear (2.779)

Awesome Tiger I

This tank Mr. Styrvoky is friggin awesome. The best looking part in my opinion is the turret. In particular the gun mantlet and the comanders cupola. But one mistake I've still found. The front armor of your tank has not the right angle. The Tiger had an angle of 81 on its upper front armor. But nevertheless this Tiger is the best large scale LEGO Tiger i've ever seen. Btw poor StuG...

Just noticed the commander's hatch/cupola, very nice! That would have worked for your Panther.

Amazing! All the details are really great, like the commander's cupola and the gun mantlet, which is just perfect! The overall shape may be a bit distorted, but with legos a perfect scale model is never possible anyway, excellent work!

Looks great, except for the gun looking too square. In a slightly related piece of news, my friend got an RC Tiger about 2-3 weeks ago for about 230$.

eh the roadwheels fit, and the tracks fit, as long as the bars arnt at their limit, id say all is well...

Awesome build! The shape of the turret, which is one of the signature features of the Tiger, is spot on, and I love the functionality that you have included, especially the suspension and transmission.

Quoting killswitch95 [DEMON] very very nice, i have a feeling the reason it looks low, and therefore longer than it should, is that its weight was probably putting alot of strain on those Lego torsion bars haha, need some stronger, stiffer bars man! 5/5
Its probably the road wheels, they should be slightly larger and so should the tracks. I used the same torsion bars from my panther so all I have to do is flip the orientation of the bars and they will straighten out more. Also for stiffer bars just use shorter axles.

I figured there were separate motors for the engine and wheels, you're brilliant! Definitely the best Lego tank I've ever seen. I wish I had one!

Quoting James Prins Wow, your builds just get better and better! The only thing I'd say is maybe the turret could be moved forward like 1 or 1.5 studs; other than that this thing is epic! Oh yes, the turret traverse seemed a bit rough -- is that just because the pesky Shermans keep doing the stop-and-go thing, or is it that ze German engines need more power? GREAT build!
I had some problems with Sunlight affecting the IR in the video and the batteries were old in the remotes
