The Vicious Vipren: Giant Slayer
My LoM rank challenge, witness Rego Arian become a Giant Slayer of Rainos!
About this creation

Rego knew that the disbanding of the Lotus could be a great opportunity for recruiting troops to his personal army. But he would need to convince the ex-Loti, he'd need to preform an act of extreme value. So he set off to bring back the crest of a Vicious Vipren, a dragon found only in the Northern mountains of Mythron. He soon found his target...

Just the base. Much better than a typical plate-scape IMO. :)

Opposite view.

The Vicious Vipren. The Vipren is one of the most dangerous dragons found on Mythron. It's one of the few wingless dragons to survive the Dragon Purge led by King Mythros when he first formed Mythron.

The Vipren can spit acid from its mouth. The acid reacts to air, catching fire. It is an extremely unstable compound and will explode on contact with any metal.

The Vipren has become a perfect predator, stalking its prey in the mountains, then ambushing its prey.

Face. This particular Vipren was once captured by a Mountain Orc tribe, as shown by the chains around its neck.

Arian, the epic Giant Slayer.

Infernum's Comments:

A quick build, love the dragon! Can't wait to build more with the mixel's joints! The landscape is really cool too IMO. :)

Thanks for Looking! :D

Nice build, but it looks like a lion with a dragon for a mother rather than a dragon. :P

Quoting ~The Lego Creator The dragon is AWESOME!!!
Thanks!
Quoting Lego Obsessionist The beast is great and all, but that base takes the cake!
Ha, ha, the dragon took way longer than the base though! ;). Thanks!
Quoting Kai Bernstein Nice work - the LION looks great (:P) and I really like the rockwork. The SNOT is subtle yet provides all the necessary angles and detail for this style.
Thanks! SNOT is fun! ;)

Quoting Dr. Monster Great action scene. Very cool.
Thanks a bunch Dr.! ;)
Quoting Mohamed Marei Agree with everyone about the lion thing. At first I thought it was a chimera. The dark brown and tan used do strike quite a resemblance to a lionesque creature. Very well done, nonetheless.
Yeah, perhaps the combination of the color scheme and it being wingless was an error on my part. ;). I just really wanted to use all the great parts from the lion legend beast. Thanks! :)
Quoting Legotier :) Looks more like a wingless griffin to me. It's still Awesome ether may. Great job dude!!
It can be a wingless griffin if that's how you see it. You know what they say: mythological species are in the eye of the beholder! XD
Quoting David FNJ Cool dragon! Nice base. Very nice build!

Quoting Lindel Baskin Fantastic work! Very original design both on the dragon and the base. I love the dragon's tail as well! Well done!
Thanks! I thought the use of the Mouth of Sauron's helmet for the tail's club was a pretty cool idea. It's definitely spikey! :)

Quoting Gilbert Despathens Did you mean ”vicious,” because, while that dragon doesn't look like it has a particularly high viscosity, it does look lethal. Nice rank challenge, Toa!
*FACEPALM* :P. Spelling has never been my strong point, but this is pretty bad, even for me. It IS kinda funny that no one pointed that out until you. :P. Thanks Gilbert!
Quoting David . Fire-breathing DINOSAUR would be more correct. :P Nice Dino, though. :) And Good ground rocks!
Ha, ha, thanks!

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga You should have portrayed this as a giant lion monster instead of a dragon. It looks familiar as a lion, but with just the right amount of monstrosity :P
Ha, ha, yeah. I guess a four legged tan creature reminds most people of a lion. :P.
Quoting Mr. Cab Awesome work! Although the gray stripes in the legs do bother me a bit...
Thanks! Yeah, I really wish those joints came in more than just those 2 colors. :(
Quoting Stormjay Rider Doesn't remind me of a dragon very much. Nice MOC in itself though.
I was trying to create dragon with a different shape than a normal dragon, so I left out the wings. :)

:)
Quoting Nathan Pownell Love the irregular base! The dragon is really epic, though at first I thought it was a lion... :)
