Under The Sea
Much more goes on under the sea than most people know. Countless battles, wars, and civilizations exist. One cannot fathom how many things exist under the sea. In this case, it's aquastlenauts: Sea-Orcs, attacking the noble Sea-Knights.
About this creation
I know that some of you were not exactly understanding the whole situation, and my badly lit photos and lack of commentary were definitely at fault! So here I am, reusing the same pictures as before (although with a bit of GIMPing to make 'em look purdy :P) plus a few new shots that weren't included in the MocAthalon entry! In addition, I'll have some nice explanations throughout the pictures. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think, again!

The aquastlenauts theme is a classic mash-up of three themes: Underwater (aqua), castle, and astronauts. The most prominent theme in this build is castle, as the main feature of the build is castle! But hopefully it is obvious that it is an underwater castle, and a look at the figs will help see how castle and space are mixed together. :)

The castle build was enjoyable (as they usual are). I included several of my favorite techniques with the castle.

I was inspired by another underwater rock formation built by... I forget :S... anyways this was also fun to build!

We see here, the Sea-Orcs are attacking the Sea-Knights. The castle belongs to the Sea-Knights, and as is usual in fantasy stories, the orcs are the badguys trying to kill the good guys - and as you see in the photo they've caught the knights unready.

Underseascape. Mer-orc sneaking up on the side.

Here's a better shot of the castle itself. The light-bley and dark-tan look quite nice together IMO.

A lot of the sea life on the ocean floor. That manta <3

The mer-king protects the mer-babies? Not sure.

Sorry for the bad shot.
I built this big open space was designed to house some big vehicle, however I decided not to build something because A) Ran out of time for the MocAthalon. B) At this point I'm not really able to build and the creation is being taken apart!
Oh well.

Sneaky sneaky

Nasty bugger!

A parting shot of the lovely seascape :)

Thanks for viewing! I have some more old-ish builds that I need to upload! Nothing new, sadly. Oh well.

Fantastic scene Flare! The ground texturing looks very natural, and the castle looks to be pretty well built.

Great job Flare! One question though, where did you download gimp from? Every time I try to download it, I get warnings saying it has an infection. ~Zach

Nicely done, I'm not so keen on aquastlenauts, (I thought it was a mash up of only castle and aquanauts) but I like the scene, great landscape... underwaterscape. That rock formation looks familiar, perhaps inspired by this? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Sebeus/other/Skin-Ideas/islanders.jpg :D
