About this creation
It was mid day, the mist had disappeared from the atmosphere...and the village was now bustling with activity. The children were playing near the swamp, peasants where moving hay to and fro, and animals were running around chaotically! Nobody would know that in just a few hours they would be fleeing from a seized village!

2
In the brush stood a cloaked figure...he held a short sword, and wore many belts over his red garment. He controlled every movement down to his breathing, he was a trained Black Lotus assassin.

3
Behind him stood a slightly less stealthy warrior, he was an outlaw thug who was currently employed by the Black Lotus. The assassin had brought him along for physical "support."

4
Atop the tower was a mouse and owl. The Black Lotus soldiers had released the pests to distract the archers as they executed their plan...

5
The archers tried to scare the pest away, but the blasted beasts would not leave one another alone!

6
However, it was just enough time for the perpetrator to toss a thin chain to the top of the tower. Their plan had worked.

7
The solider was the first one up the rope. After all, he was the more expendable of the two...

8
As the man leapt onto the top of the tower, one of the archers immediately took aim. He pulled back on his bow....the arrow flew only a few inches until he sunk deeply into the scull of the assassin. (Hm...I guess who is last really is first...to die that is:P)

10/9
He was not fast enough to save the life of his friend, though. The Black Lotus brute had sliced his sword into the neck of the Mythronian archer.

11
Scrambling to ready his bow, the archer aimed his arrow again. He was just about to fire when-

12
....an arrow came sorrowing through the air, intercepting his neck.

13
The projectile had come from an Orcian bow...he was yet another Black Lotus that had been scouting out the village!

14
The citizens turned to look at the archer. They shivered in fear as the orc hissed at them in his native tongue!

15
The guards from the tower rushed through the crowd. They took offensive actions as they approached the attacker, for they were the only able body soldiers around the village. They began to shout, "Stop! Stand down!"

16
There was a stirring in the crowd! A figure in a dark green clocked whirled around, throwing a sinisterly cold air through the crowd! "Now my warriors, it is time! Come fourth!"

17
A common lightening spell shot out of the druid's hand. It blasted the spearmen's armor with electrifying pain, his screams paralyzed the villagers for a moment while he suffered in pain.

19/18
The citizens retreated from the oncoming battle. They were too afraid for their own lives to do anything.

20
All except one citizen, a housewife. She jumped atop the back of her pigs, and whirled her broom as if it was a weapon. She knocked the druid on the head with a loud "THUD!"

21
The Orcian archer aimed his weapon at the lady. He muttered swear words in his native tongue, but it sounded only like hisses to the women. Aggressive hisses albeit, but still, just hisses.

22
The spearmen was silently laying down "Playing dead" if you will, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Instead he saw what had to be done, he leapt in front of the women to block the arrow. With his last gust of strength he quickly shouted, "For Mythron!"

23
He was struck like a thunderbolt. The brave man was so closed to the archer, the arrow ripped right through not only his armor...but his entire stomach.

24
"Good!" said the scruffy voice of the Black Lotus solider. He had climbed down from the tower, and was regrouping with the archer. The Orc heckled at the solider. The half-witted Black Lotus couldn't make heads-or-tales of his speech, but he nodded in agreement.

25
From out of a house came three Black Lotus, they, apparently "understood" the Orcs language. They were more stranglers fleeing Mythron after the defeat of their leader...

26
The Black Lotus walked over to his leader, and shook his clocked body. "Wake up! Wake up sir!" said the Black Lotus solider.

27
A few moments later the druid awoke from his lump on his head. He looked at his forces, "Where is my assassin?" questioned their leader. The Black Lotus solider who was involved in the initial attack sheepishly responded, "Uh...he uh, bit the spearhead. His body is up on that tower you asked us to attack."

28
As the Black Lotus druid was passing out orders to his men. It was the barks of a stray dog that disturbed their conversation. "Ruff! Ruff Ruff Ruff!" The Black Lotus did not, however, know it was a distraction...

29
The group of men turned to face the animal.... "What should we do wit' it boss?" questioned a voice.

30
From out of the confusion rushed Mythronian troops. They had been dispatched a few hours before. Finally they had arrived at their distention. Ironically, there was not supposed to be any Black Lotus troops there. It was only after the failed attack on a castle, that they decided the village was an easy target.

31
The druid was not very skilled, unfortunately for him. He had only learned few refined spell, and even fewer that were fit for battle. He unleashed another bolt of lightening, "You will not take us!" he shouted! It hit there commander quite hard. He let out a cry in pain, but he was soon fried more thoroughly then a hog over a roaring fire.

32
As tired as they were, the soldiers thrust forward. They were outnumbered to be sure, but not out matched!

33
The druid silently retreated towards the tower....he was going to survive even if none of his soldiers did.

34
The battle was playing out a few feat away, it was two against two....for one of the Black Lotus had cowardly started running away. Loyalty was not popular amounts outlaws after all.

35
One solider rushed forward, "For Mythron!" he shouted! Instead of directly attacking the warriors though, he slid under them.

36
He tackled the Orcian archer, "You outlaw filth! Gimme your weapon!" he mumbled as he wrestled the Orc to the ground.

37
The other Mythronian solider was unaware of his colleague's plan. He was left to fight two heavily armored men at once! He grunted against their combined force as they pushed down on his blade,

38
The solider went flying onto the fallen bodies behind him. The Black Lotus grunted through his helmet, "Die you worm! We will not bow to you tyrants!"

39
Suddenly, the Black Lotus dropped dread. Seemingly supernaturally he feel over like a boulder in a rock slide.

40
The Mythronian solider had obtained the bow from the Orc, and aimed it at a weak link in the enemy's armor. As clumsy with a bow as he was, he managed to hit him. He proceeded to hit the other dark warrior from behind as well.

41
"Thank you!" said the solider's in relief..."One more minute and I would have joined the stars.

42
"Fools! Can't they handle anything? Argh, fine! I will kill you scum myself!"

43
The solider who had nearly avoided death, bravely took on the druid. His fellow knight was already looking for a back door to the tower, so as to be able to surprise the enemy from behind.

44
The Clumsy Black Lotus had forgotten to take away their chain. The solider pulled himself up the rope, going as fast as he possibly could.

45
He jumped on top of the tower. He rushed to the side...

46
...Below were the two men, ready to fight to the death! He took aim with his bow, he breathed heavily in and out for a moment...and after what felt like an eternity of stress, he let it go. (I was definitely not making a pun there.)

47
The arrow barely hit the druid's head, but it was enough to kill him. He fell to the ground, dying with a searing pain rushing throughout his body without end....

48
The Mythronian knight looked up to his fellow solider. "Good work, friend!" he said.

49
The solider rushed down through the inside of tower, "'I'm glad I didn't miss! Thank God above!" (please excuse the poor picture quality here.)

50
"We ought to alert the citizens it's safe to return, and get reinforcements incase more scum comes back!" "Agreed."

51
When the solider's were a fair bit down the road, the Engineer stepped out of the house which was housing the Black Lotus soldiers. He had coordinated the entire attack, and recruited the druid to stand in as a impostor-leader. Now the battle was over and he would have what he wanted.

51
He pushed past the fallen warriors, "What the blasted devil!?" he exclaimed! "Can't these morons of soldiers do anything right?"

53
He picked up a dead Mythron solider, "Argh! I hate putting my hands in mud....but sometimes it must be done."

54
He had changed into the clothes of the dead warrior, now he would infiltrate Mythronian boarder's undetected. He smirked at the perfect success of his plan... "Those bloody fools will not know what hit them." he mumbled to himself.

To be continued!

Artistic shot.

57
Personally, I love this view.

58
Darn, those dark tan plants are useful!

59
My favorite minifigure aspect of the MOC was these two peasants, and their (if I may say, awesome) cart!

The Mythronian tower.

I'm going to disagree with Graham Gidman - the SNOT plates look good and the MOC would be less interesting without them. The trouble is, they stick out a plate's width father than 93 percent of the wall around them, but I still think you did fairly well. You found a middle ground between greebling stonework into a bunch of ruins and leaving the walls flat. However, the most striking improvement is in composition. On your UC from last month, the wall looked awkward because of the gate and the structure above it. This time the tower looks very believable - like a real castle or outpost, it has the look of a structure built for defense rather than appearance yet the few detailed parts, like that long groove in the side, give it a sort of workmanlike majesty. Going on to the houses, they seem to be short on windows but nevertheless look respectable. They're subtly greebled into realism. Good look all around.

Just so you know, one of your pictures is duplicated (it's the one with the dog.).

Quoting Toa Infernum Wow! Great build, love the story! The tower is awesome! So are the houses, I'm not a big fan of the roofs though. Why do you use 1x2 plates instead of tiles when you texture your stonework? I think tiles look better, though that might just be me. ;)
I'm getting tired of my roves as well....I'll have to try something different. As for the texturing, I myself just prefer the plates to the tiles.

Quoting Graham Gidman Absolutely fantastic! I would never believe this was built by an eleven year old. :P The composition is great and the landscaping, woodwork, and stonework all flow beautifully together. My only little critique is that the use of plates in the stonework looks really awkward unless your doing extremely textured walls. I'd try replacing those with tiles, or if you don't have any, just don't add any wall offsets. :)
Thanks man! I was using the plates, because I actually like them....but also because tiles are a bit mainstream. I was trying to be unique etc. ;)
