TAC 100 - Tactical Exo Frame
..it's been a while...
About this creation
The background story: The year is 2089, after mankind learned to live in peace, they learned they were not alone in the universe. Some alien races would become powerful allies, but some would become new threats. And so the greatest technological minds would unite... to save us all: MECH FACTORY........A theme of MOCs by Boyzwiththemosttoyz.

The brick story: Another installment to my Mech Factory theme, it's been a while. This time its the TAC 100 an exo frame made of system, Hero Factory and Bionicle Bits. The TAC 100 is used to pacify uprisings and unlawfull gatherings, defend government buildings from alien ground attacks and is a general purpose customizable exo frame. Model is very poseable and has lots of playability: Including rifle, shield and shoulder mounted rocket launcher and ball joints everwhere! One pilot / operator minifig can pilot the unit. Inputs for the TAC 100's movement are sent via neuro impulses through the system's helmet to the CPU and tranlated into instantaneous frame limb movement. Frames are customizable in shielding and ordinance choices!

thanks
Quoting Mike Johnson Nicely done. I always like it when a build has high flexibility and play-ability to it! I also build a couple of power armors last year that use a similar torso (opening chest) design. Now I just need to find the time to post them.

Nice stuff, good blend of system and bionicle! The hips & thighs seem a bit skinny to me, but I guess that allows for the 'customizeable armour options.' I can see potential for a lot of fun variants on this frame!

Actually, you're right. I see in series or movies only usually smaller Exo suit versions.

Cool! Not to be rude, but the thigh area feels a bit empty to me, again no offense.

Cool! I am working on my own mech theme interestingly, but I don't want to say anything more than that!

very good balance between system, bionicle, and technics parts! I d love to see it in a scene of the kind of universe you have imagined it in!

why is there a size constraint for a fictional concept?
Quoting Stephan N this is a great exosuit. so large that is a bit unusual, but very cool :)

you thought wrong. :)
Quoting Evan Botkin Looks good. I like how the pilot fits in. It seems to me though that the torso is really armored while the arms and legs are more skeletal. I thought the whole MOC was meant to appear more skeletal. Still good looking overall.

Quoting Declan Muller Nice use of both Bionicle and System parts. It's hard to effectively create a balance between the two, and it seems cool here. :)

The thighs feel a bit empty, but otherwise a cool model. I like that you managed to fit in the entire fig instead of just sticking the head up there, like a traditional hardsuit model. A couple of brackets in the right spot will also let you improve the shoulder area, which is now a bit too flat.

That is some good piece usage for the legs. Simple, but effective.
