Inspired in the spaceship for second player in Salamander Konami's videogame series ( renamed Life Force in US ). First player controls Vic Viper ( yeah, you know ), and second player controls Lord British. Not accurate build and colors, but close.

Quoting Stephen Barnes Looks a bit like one of these. From an old TV show. http://flyawaysimulation.com/media/images1/Image/texturscarlet.jpg
yeah,I know that spaceship, it's "angel interceptor" from Captain Scarlett tv show, from producers of "thunderbirds". Looks a bit close. I made it time ago, but i don't have any photos of it. Anyway, i think another guy actually made that fighter, accurately. Here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/28901644@N05/4767381850/

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Great flyer! Donīt know the game where it appeared in, but it reminded of another one called 'Raptor: Call of the Shadows'. Anyway, this one looks awesome - good job! ~Cheers
I googled Raptor:call...and the starfighter looks indeed like this one, just that spaceship donīt have the stabilizer fin.

Cool ship. Very sleek design and a great take on a classic. I always imagined the Vic Viper looking more like this, just based on playing the Gradius games that is. Incidentally, Lord British is the name of the guy who mastermined the classic Ultima RPGs (early 80's thru mid 90's). Again great ship, I especially like the use of tank treads around the exhaust. Great stuff!
