For a MOC-off between me and David ..
About this creation

Some music to go with the MOC: Into the fire

It was a dreary day in Kostulov, New Germany. In Sector 28, botanic researchers feared for their plants. It looked like thunderheads to the east, and you could see the sprinkles of rain on the lab's windows. The scientists had already put up a shield around their weather satellite, for fear of it getting wet or struck by lightning. One scientist was currently closing the main door. The scientists were starting to input data about the weather into the computer when the satellite picked up a strange black object, flying against the wind. Upon closer inspection, a scientist discovered it to be a feared Blacktron dropship. The Blacktron was a group of highly trained British soldiers that deserted the main force when they were attacking the super power South Africa. The soldiers deemed the task impossible, despite their discipline and high level of training. They fled in their fleet's shuttle craft, and took over the small moon of Quirpus II. They are gaining power by guerrilla attacks on helpless small outposts to gain the supplies they need to survive. The scientist told the others in dismay, that it looked like the Blacktron had come to raid this small research base. Immediately, A scientist called the police, but, since the outpost was on the border between the desert and the Kostulov plains, only a small police platoon could come to their aid.

Within 20 minutes, the platoon arrived, and the scientists were going to open the entrance to the outpost when the dropship attacked. It rained down fire power like a volcano rains down ash. the police stood no chance. The lone vehicle was shot down within seconds of the Blacktron's arrival, and it killed an officer instantly. Another officer was wounded, and brought to the edge of the landing pad. She started calling in heavy reinforcements, but they would be in vain, for the Blacktron made swift, decisive attacks. A sniper was positioned on the roof of the lab, and was uncannily accurate. More Blacktron soldiers repelled down ropes attached to the dropship. A Blacktron pried open the entrance door to the lab, and, to his surprise, scared a scientist to near deah. The other scientists surrendered quickly afterward. The police fore was dwindling in both hope and energy. It seemed like the blacktron won this fight. How could they ever hope to destroy such cunning and malevolent British soldiers? It seemed the fate of the galaxy now was turing to the worst. What could the Blacktron be hoping to accomplish? With so many questions unanswered, the UNPF (United Nations Police Force) Could not guess what the Blacktron's next move would be, therefore losing the battle of logistics. Will the Galaxy ever be saved of such treachery?

Quoting Michael Rutherford Nice dio. Lots of details, action, and plants. The aggressors seem slightly over equipped, considering their target was just a greenhouse and some scientists. I wonder if the aggressors were just practicing for a more challenging mission at a later time? Also, you took the time to photograph the dio very well. This lets us see every detail. Well done. Maybe some more close ups of the bad guys next time? Great job. Attack!
Thanks!
