Toa Ekorak v2
My Self-MOC, Toa Ekorak, Lord of Oblivion.
About this creation
v2 of my Self-MOC is finally here! Here's the list of changes, although I may have missed a few:
1: Changed the armor on the lower arm.
2: Made his thumb double jointed.
3: Raised his arms several units, which I think makes it look much better, and it adds a feel of very broad shoulders, which I like.
4: Armored up the back a bit more.
5: Added a sword holder. Simple, but effective.
6: Changed the armor on the waist.
7: Bulked up the waist.
8: Changed the armor on the sides of his upper legs, because the originals seemed a bit sloppy to me.
9: Lengthened those lower legs.
10: Changed the third layer of armor on the lower legs.

Action pose!

Just chillin.

Who needs swords when you have whips? Who need whips when you have sword-whips?

Closer look of the lower legs. I think they turned out well.

Close up of the upper legs. pretty much the same except for some armoring changes and additions.

The body. Also pretty much the same from the front, aside from the shoulders, which have been moved upwards.

The head. I really love this head design. If you don't know it's supposed to look a bit like a ninja mask/cowl, which is why there is no mouth. Another thing to note is the Lewa sword, which is supposed to resemble a feather, like the stereotypical hunter would have, as it is the Kanohi Woltrak, Mask of the Hunt.

A back view of the MOC. I know that the back of the legs are a bit under armored, but adding armor in the gaps hinders articulation too much for my liking.

A closer look of the back. Very happy with how the Gali Mistika shoulder armor fits into the back armor. You can also see how his swords attach to his back.

Comparison shot with what is possibly the lamest official Inika build ever.

I said he was lame, but that was not called for Ekorak!

Another comparison, this time with the past version, both story-wise and build-wise.

Behold a portion of my collection of Kanohi/helmets! Alright, let me clear something up here. While I'm not going to go into too much detail, I will put spoilers for his story, which I am writing on CBW, although I can't upload chapter three until I finish the Nightmare MOC.

ALRIGHT FOLKS, SPOILERS BEGIN NOW!

So he basically fuses with a really powerful staff, which not only teleports him out of the Silver Peaks Antiworld, but also reverses his mutation and makes him more powerful than a normal Toa, and gives him the element of Death. He arrives on Spherus Magna, and begins to hunt down the surviving members of the Hand of Artahka, despite the fact that it was disbanded long ago. He becomes a bounty hunter, although no one trusts him, possibly due to the fact that he is, as dubbed by the Agori, a Tri-Elemental Overlord. He has no issues killing, as Turaga Vakama confirmed to him that he was not technically bound to the Toa Code, as it was written after the Anti-Matoran were banished. So that's why he is standing in a pile of masks and helmets, if you were wondering. Yeah, my Self-MOC is a bad guy.

Also, the mask that Ekorak is holding in that picture is a Sukil. Credit for the design goes to Toa Likus. I see what you did there. Well played, Likus, well played.

Well, hope you've enjoyed! Leave comments and criticism if you have any, it really means a lot to me. This is Toa Ekorak, signing off!

Quoting Toa Pyros Look at Pyros v2 and tell me if that is the lamest inika build ever. :P
Well, like I said, it's the lamest *official* Inika Build. But the size comparison dummy in that is probably the second lamest. I can make one even lamer :P

Wow. Seeing the comparison with the previous version is pretty crazy. Torso is a little skinny but otherwise, I like it. Cool head.

Quoting Toa Likus Pretty cool self-MOC ya got there Mr. Ekorak! Nice bulky Technic style design. Two minor things to change are add more silver to the upper torso and make the legs and feet a little less square. Good job ;)
Thanks dude :)

Quoting Kangar The Botanic Warrior If he had wings, what if the feathers were leaves!? lol
Yeeaaahhhh. Everyone in my family agrees that the wings on Ekorak make him look too big. I'm still working on it. But on the plus side, I have good news. If you read my page on CBW, you'll see that I have multiple primary Self-MOCs, to mirror the fact that I have multiple personalities" that I use depending on who I'm around. Just to say, they're all Ekorak, not multiple random characters. Well, the original, Enderman inspired version is one, this one is two.... Also, Kangar might take a while. There are currently three dark green MOCs I want to do AND I have a bit of a MOCblock right now. But I do have an idea. I just need to know: do you have a CBW or some place you post Kangar's story?

Quoting Callux Toa of Fire Hey, i need a bad guy in my story, so could Ekorak be the bad guy? If not thats fine though.
Well do take note that Ekorak is a bounty hunter, not a complete villain. He's sorta one of those complex characters in that he has no issues killing despite being a Toa, but he still has the decency in his heart to not just go on murder sprees. He only works if there is a legitimate purpose to his work or if someone is paying him one heckuva lot of money XD but yes, if you take into account that he isn't just a straight up villain, then by all means, go for it! I'd love to see what others can do with this guy. Particularly now that he has wings....

Quoting Kangar The Botanic Warrior Yea, do wings! And really? A Kangar for me? Cool! lol
The funny thing about adding wings on this guy is that right next to each one of his shoulders in an open pin hole, which makes the connection easy. And yes, really. He'll probably have a color scheme of dark gold and lime green, or maybe dark gold and dark green, but I don't know yet, and I won't know until I start building :) But yes really. Now what if I gave Kangar wings.....

Quoting Callux Toa of Fire Wow! When I first saw it on the homepage I was like "I'm sure it's not that good, but I am so happy I clicked on him because I was amazed! I love the entire build and he looks really sweet and I will defiantly add you as a favorite. Also, btw, could you plz give instructions for his head? I will definitely try to build him! Mice mic and I will definitely look at your other mocs!
Thank you! I'm probably going to give instructions, yeah. It's pretty simple if you have the pieces, you just need to get the layering right, but you can't see said layering well because it's all in black. Once again, thank you!

Quoting Kangar The Botanic Warrior This is great! The only complain that I actually have is the silver turbines on his feet, it almost feels like they don't fit in with the rest of the MOC, but other than that, he's amazing!
Yeah, I know. If you look on the original, he has ankle jets made using the piston piece found in most titan models, and I wanted to try and make that better, but I don't think it worked too well either. I'm still deciding whether I want to give him a jetpack, wings, or nothing at all, but I might do wings, because wings are great if you pull them off well. Also, I'm looking forward to Kangar v4! Saw a bit of a preview in your Rahkshi: Overload, and he looked great. I'd make a Kangar of my own, but I never got the set that his mask came in. I do have the piece (It's in the pile of masks at the end, you just can't see it), but it's in dark gold. Hmmm, Kangar, Overlord of Life. Sounds good. Expect it in a week or two XD
