About this creation
This is my entry for Round 1 of the The Guild Wars . My opponent and I were tasked with the category: Building an Empire: Literally! Create a scene of the construction of your Guild's fortress! You're about halfway done, so it's not quite complete yet. You can have scaffolding, winches, or anything else!

This is Staedbergh Keep. The Guild workers are hard at work creating a fortress that will be impenetrable. Staedbergh Keep will be a symbol of the guilds power and might. With a high battlement and strong tower this castle will be a terror to all those foolish enough to lay siege to it.

Staedbergh Keep!

Staedbergh Tower under construction.

The incomplete wall with scaffolding.

Owyne the Carter is bringing materials to the workers who are working on the wall.

Hubard, the guild's castle designer, is making sure that Godfree the Tile Maker is doing his job right.

The medieval crane which is run by a guild worker who walks in the wheel which makes it turn and raises the heavy materials to the workers on the top of the tower.

Poor Bartl has the job of making the crane work a.k.a being a hamster in a hamster wheel for a day.

Poor Bartl's work is not in vain.

That is all! This castle was a pleasure to build. I tried to get the authentic look of the way medieval castles were being built during the Middle Ages. I hope you all enjoy this MOC.

Quoting Allan Hall great build, loads of detail, although quite realistic you still retain that lego feel I find essential in a build. legotastic infact.
Thank you very much!

Quoting Mythical Griffin Fantastic job! So much detail, and I noticed some NPU in the build. (The stairs used as the tile holder) The design of the scaffolding on the tower is amazing, and I love the "hamster wheel"! Score= 5
Thank you very much!

Quoting Brickhead Inge I disagree. This is a very accurate recreation of a castle in the makings. This is exactly how it was done. It looks worn as it is not lime washed yet, which gives the castle the look of being made from one piece of stone. This is fantastic.
Thank you very much!

This is great, but for being brand new, the castle already looks well worn.
