About this creation
Part the Next
Part the Last
Part the First

Arvan was walking through the woods on his way to Reedus.
He had decided to bring with him Jolan, mosly because he felt sorry for him but also because he wanted some company other than Sir Gerdof, who had turned out to be a stuck up idiot. The other person he had chosen was a fellow Nerogueian, but by no means a trustworthy companion. She was an outlaw who had turned to Nerogue after the sacking of Tomeu and had chosen to keep her identity hidden. Instead she went by the name 'The Blade' and was trusted by few. Arvan had chosen her because she was an excellent fighter and he thought they needed extra protection, due to him and Jolan's inexperience in combat.

LOMAttackWoods2

He didn't like the path they had taken. There could be anyone hiding in the thick foliage. He stopped to take a look.

LOMAttackWoods3

He saw some birds fly out of the treeline.
"Everybody, stop!" He commanded in a hushed voice. "Something startled those birds, be on your guard!"

LOMAttackWoods5

All of a sudden an arrow flew out of the woods, everyone recoiled in shock and Sir Gerdof's horse, Annie, nearly fell over.

LOMAttackWoods6

Faster than anyone would believe, a mage appeared and blasted sir Gerdof with fire. An archer had also appeared on the rock and Jolan turned and shot him.

LOMAttackWoods7

The Blade instantly span around and charged at the mage with her swords drawn. Arvan spotted something in the trees and was about to shout a warning when...

LOMAttackWoods9

A third assailant jumped from the trees and kicked The Blade to the ground.

LOMAttackWoods10

He turned and hit Jolan so hard he stumbled back into the bushes.

LOMAttackWoods11

Arvan, realising he was the only of the four left standing, reluctantly charged and tripped on an arm jutting out of the ground, presumably summoned by the mage.

LOMAttackWoods12

Arvan landed face down on the ground. The third man prepared to strike.

LOMAttackWoods13

All of a sudden, the man was ungulfed in flames from behind. The mage who had attacked was still panting, recovering from the two spells he had just casted, so it couldn't have been him.

LOMAttackWoods14

Arvan jumped to his feet and recognised the man. It was the outlaw he had encountered at the inn!

LOMAttackWoods15

Remembering the promise he had made, he swung his sword...

LOMAttackWoods16

...And severed his head from his body!

LOMAttackWoods17

Arvan turned on the exhausted mage

LOMAttackWoods17

LOMAttackWoods19

After checking his friends were ok, Arvan prepared to leave. He wasn't satisfied, however. Why had these people attacked them? Who were they? Why was the outlaw there? Who had shot the flames at him?

~~~Extra Stuff~~~
WARNING this section contains an abundance of exclamation marks!!!!!111!!!
My first ever 'proper' tree! (Not to shabby) Loosly based of this one here.
LOMAttackWoods21
Thick foliage!
LOMAttackWoods22
Dead guy!
LOMAttackWoods23
Close up dead guy! Why did I take this picture?
LOMAttackWoods24
Rock! I didn't really like this rock but I needed some sort of backdrop.
LOMAttackWoods25
The whole build!
LOMAttackWoods26
Oh looks like that's it.
Nice work on the border, the inset path, and the tree!
Quoting Gilbert Despathens The border's definitely a winner. Actually, despite the blurs and the motley outlaw minifigures, the whole MOC looks great. The realistic look at Nerogue keeps making me happy, too.
Thank you! Hopefully (Not a promise) I'll be using a decent camera soon
Quoting David FNJ Very nice scene here! I like the border you added - it really gives it that "finished" look. Well done!
Thank you! I take pride in my borders...
