Previously on War Within: Trado explains his concerns regarding the Path to Seneca.
About this creation
During the events of The Cult Parts 39-44...
Trado: Last night something happened which disturbed me greatly.
Inquisitor: Soon, soon Catron will know...
Cultist Elite: Inquisitor, the construction is not yet complete.
Inquisitor: Put our own on it, then. The pilgrims are becoming lazy.
Cultist Elite: We have.
Cultist Elite: Even with everyone available working we remain shorthanded.
Inquisitor: Where are those local workers going tonight?
Cultist Elite: Home, as always. They stay here and work five days out of seven.
Inquisitor: Hm. Go from here; I leave this dilemma to you.
Cultist Elite: You there! Stay a minute!
Local: What is it?
Cultist Elite: We need more men. We would appreciate if you stayed.
Local: My family is waiting. I must go home. Good night.
Cultist Elite: Unfortunate.
Local: What are you doing?!
Cultist Elite: I'm sorry, but this is the way you chose. Now, if you value your life, come with me.
Trado: Hiring the locals to work for our projects is one thing. Enslaving them is entirely another.
Trado: At this point in my writing I must clarify: it is the leadership I question, not my beliefs. Earlier today the honorable Inquisitor told us to address our superiors within our battle ranks as "sir". We are now to display the same discipline the heathen militaries show. What is happening to the Path? We are brothers along this walk, this is entirely different! The Bishops would never approve of this, if they ever set foot on this wretched planet.
Trado: I follow a tyrant along the Path, rather than a virtuous man. What corruption has infiltrated our ranks? How could this happen? Already I am sick with what this leader has made us do. Who knows what others-
Trado stopped, looking up from his busy writing.
Trado: The Astray! What has gotten into them?!
Trado: They know not what they are doing...
