About this creation
Well, here is the entire thing. Everything you get. Box, 2 manuals, brick separator and the set.
The first of the many play features, as this is mainly a playset, is this button. Push it and the mine cart hurtles along the tracks.
As shown here, towards the "Keep Out" sign.
A little catapult for dynamite.
Twist this barrel and the section of wall collapses revealing... yup, silver!
The side of the set.
One of the rooms with the scales and door into the mine.
The shack. Press the back of the skull and it flies out. The stove atthe side twists to...um... I don't know why it does.
Push this button and the dynamite causes the rocks to 'explode'.
The waterfall and little river.
Behind the waterfall. Full of silver.
More silver and the slide behind the waterfall.
The slide goes from the inside room down to the mine cart.
The crane with bucket.
Pull this lever out and the trapdoor opens.
If you twist the same lever, the trapdoor flips up and knocks the boulder from the roof. It then bounces of the roof below and crashes to the ground. Works well actually!
The minifigs. The Lone Ranger in tattered and dirty clothes. Tonto with different faces to the other sets. Chief Big Bear who very nicely done. Simple but nice. Butch Cavendish (Rather like Butch Cassidy, don't you think?) Very nice torso and hat with combined hair which is cool. Good face too, although my issue with it will be revealed in the next picture. Kyle is pretty simple also but is still a very nice figure.
Now the backs. The Lone Ranger again. Tonto's other face and dirty back. Chief Big Bear's other face. Butch's other face. Now my issue, can you spot it? One side he has a beard and the other he doesn't... What's up with that?! I've not seen the film so if it's explained in that fair enough. But if it's not explained then what on Earth is LEGO playing at?! Kyle's back. Simple again.
Finally the spares. As it's a large set, there's quite a few of them!

I really like this set. Brilliant figures. Full of play features if that's what you like. Lots of sandy and Dark Tan pieces for desert scenes. A very cool set. Price wise... hmm... I'm not sure to be honest. It's pretty good for it's asking price but obviously if you can get it cheaper, do so.
