My favorite creation to date. Remodeled and reconstructed the 2001 set, incorporated parts from the 2006 set as well as some of my own customizations. All brown now and I love how it turned out. Enjoy!
About this creation

Mug shot. Ain't she a beauty?

A little taller than the original, but essentially the same save for a few pieces.

Back section of the MTT. Cool little design on the hatch.

The cockpit. Added a studless floor for that sleeker look.

The weapons hold. 16 Blaster Rifles as well as a Droideka.

Decided to throw in an engine for the giggles.

Rocket launchers popping out from the panels in the back.

Updated guns. The original set had two fixed cannons that couldn't rotate, I decided to take the cannons from the newer MTT and incorporate them into the model. Turned out to be a perfect fit.

Updated troop bay.

See the grey piece on the side there? The rack is on a track, and spinning that grey piece moves the track forward and/or backward. I thought that was a nice little playability function.

Droid rack outside of the MTT. You'll see it's quite a few droids. The original set was able to hold 7 seven droids in the racks, my updates brought that total to 20.

The pilot (in blue), Droideka, and folded up B1 Battle Droids.

Pretty Proud of this little guy. I actually built it around 2010 and it's been sitting in my Lego Room for a few years, so it was nice to find it intact.

Multi-Troop Transport Stats:
Piece Count: 700-800.
Troop Capacity: 21 B1's + 1 Droideka, without Droideka fits roughly 32 droids comfortably.
Length: 51 Studs.
Width: 14 Studs (Widest Point).
Height: Approximately 20 bricks.

I hope you guys liked this, it's my second Moc since my return and I think it's a good one to showcase.
Some things to expect coming up:
Republic Base (Updated)
Republic Gunship (Customized)
Hockey Rink (Still a WIP)

Stay tuned, hit that like button and comment;)

Awesome MOC. I like how you got so many droids in it. Great job.

Nice details in your creation. I like seeing the transport in brown. Not the usual shades of gray. For some reason, if I squint real hard, your creation's shaping reminds me of the Sphinx.

Awesome rendition of a sweet Star Wars vehicle. Very impressive details, it looks much better than the previous sets.

nice over-sized MTT! It's interesting, the MTT I bought (SW set) a few years back I let me wife put together, and then I took it apart to get brown slopes for a MOC project, and so I never really got a feel for the size of the official set, but this definitely looks a lot larger than lego doles out to us for Star Wars sets. great work on the smooth clean lines on this!

Pretty sweet, though I would've liked the rack that the droids come out on to be more accurate to how it actually looked in the movie, similar to the 2007 version. Besides that, it's a great new update to the MTT. I quite like the sleekness.

This is really neat- I especially like that simple yet effective action to make droid track come out. Much better than the old MTT TLG made. Okay it seems I already commented on this :P sorry about doubleposting...

Really nice work. The shape and design appears to be quite accurate as well. Especially if this is an old moc it is even better.

Quoting David FNJ That's really nice looking! That fits a lot of droids! (I suggest choosing the "large" option so we can see the pictures better without having to click on them)
I'll keep that in mind for future Mocs. Thanks for the heads-up! I appreciate it.

Neat! I have one of these in the mini version from the old mini sets. The housings for the gun ball mounts are well thought out, as are the droid racks. I'm not a big star wars model fan (i like the movies though), but what's awesome is awesome.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! Nice "little" mod. I never got the original, one of the few sets I don't have the first version of, but I like the second for it's more accurate scale. However, you managed to even surpass the 2007 model's carrying capacity of regular droids by 4, so nicely done! Although I am not a fan of mixing Brown and Redish Brown, for the sake of a great looking model like this, I will make an exception. Nice work. Tiny bit of criticism though, should have gone for the original Droideka that was from 2002. Every version since has been very poor in my opinion.
Honestly I completely agree with that. I tried to throw an old school Droideka together, but I could only find parts in different colors and I'd rather have a slightly less accurate one than one that looks thrown together in a sloppy way. Anyway, thanks for the kind remarks and feedback. I always appreciate it.

Quoting Stormjay Rider JSYK, "spamming" people's MOC comments with links to your own MOCs doesn't usually work. I'll let it slide for now. And I already liked the MOC before, so it wasn't really necessary.
I'm advertising my own creations while still giving praise and feedback on others' creations. If I recall, the motto of Mocpages is "share your LEGO creations." I'm doing just that. If you don't like it, ignore it.

Nice job! I like the rack that moves in and out with the knob. The one thing I would change is to have the droids hanging from the rack rather than just sitting on it. Other than that though, I love it!

Very cool mod, definitely packs more punch than the original. But who are these "giggles" and why did they make you put an engine in?
