AMC Matador
I still have no idea why I've gone and built this thing.
About this creation

Starting off with the back, and, being an American car of yester-year, it has got quite a big one.

Seriously. This thing is huge. Fits a family of five in the boot. With pets!

The front, which contains much derp.

Ran out of guns and light bley pieces? I don't know what you're on about.

Flank steak.

Yes, I did take a lot of this photo.

Hood, trunk, bonnet, glovebox, doors, boot, headlamps... you name it, it opens.

I said headlamps and I darn well meant it.

The V8 motor. Horsepower? A couple. Probably less than my Corolla.

All that matters is that it's smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth.

Thanks for stopping by!

It looks like the Americans had an Austin Allegro after all... or maybe that honour belongs to the Pacer! As always, a wonderfully executed model, despite a slight lack of bley pieces :-)

I've seen a lot of reviews about this AMC (the real one). A lot of them were saying that it was one of the w*rst cars in the world. I don't really understand why. It is a very seventies-ish car. You captured it very well! The shape is instantly recognizable. The details are great, and the functions you added are fantastic as well ! Great to see these old and unknown cars here!! What about the Aquarium? Could be a next moc! I'll try one, one day... (With aquarium I meant the AMC pacer ... ) 8-D 5/5 ; kindly -Yann - 8-)

I love the big sloping back end and the smooth lines of this car. It does look very 1970s. Strangely, the vehicle that I thought was a Matador was always one of these: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=matador+lorry&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=JkxyU6vdM-qS7AbLkoGYCg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ

Very cool car, never seen it before, but it is very cool looking with those front and tail lights, mainly the shape of the body following the round lights across the hood.

Great Matador. Your body shaping is excellent and the quantity and quality of your details is outstanding. AMC's are cool.

How in the world did AMC disappear with exquisiteness like the Matador? They had four wheels, they were massively small, and they got you from point A to point B when it was downhill. Seriously, how? I remember seeing one of these for the first time and thinking, "Mmmmokayyy." You have successfully captured the derpiness that is most AMC cars, Senator. I actually love this thing mainly because the shaping SCREAMS 70s and you nailed it. Outstanding!
