Tabaris is the self moc of my dear friend Rattrapstail. That's what he's known as here on DA but he also goes by the ID of Tabaris CarpeNocte on other sites.
The pointy shoes were a bit of an odd choice but I think they work well with the overal look of the build and don't intrude much on the aesthetic flow.
The original Tabaris has a fair amount of covering and flaps to make it seem like overlaying armour so I decided to put some thigh flaps here as to flow the lower torso area better rather than the thighs just jutting out, the flow goes over the flaps.
My favourite part of the entire build has to be this head.
Lucky I had the black Pakari as I'd only got it last week in my first BL order.
This is the same pose as the first image but just be clenching his fists, he can still look imposing and that's what I love about this build, the atmosphere it has about it.
Ready to crack some heads.
Tabaris can pull off running poses thanks to his stocky structure which provides good balance.
Even though Tabaris is a military combatant, it's always god to kick back and relax once in a while.
The money shot.
I wanted to make Tabaris physically large to begin with like he was in military Juggernaut armour and would include design aspects of it such as the high collar and large armour panels. Instead, he came out, still larger and stocky than my usual work, but definitely leaner than the original with a more toned down look which dispatches from heavy armour.
The build itself is almost 100% new as parts of it only use base techniques that I have but they're built upon technique-wise and altered. My favourite part of this build has to be the head which was a spot of luck as I had only just got the black Pakari in my first BL order last week. It keeps the visor in it which is still visible but encloses it so it takes on the more armoured appearance.
Overall this was one of those builds which I couldn't build so easily like my usual work and had to have a bit more thought put into it, but I thoroughly enjoyed breathing some life into this moc and hope that Rattrapstail likes it too.
