Some Updated 4-Wides (II)
Updated versions of some of my 4-wide car models.
About this creation
An assembled Lego model on the shelf is never really finished, so I'm updating my 4-wides from time to time. Sometimes I have a new idea for an existing model, sometimes a new Lego part creates new possibilities for a better design. Especially the "new" 1x2x2/3 "half bow" (curved slope) is such a part. These are the new versions of some of my 4-wide car models...

Ferrari Testarossa, V1.3:

Just a new front, but a lot smoother.

There is a "Miami Vice" version, too:
The white one was the first I've built, as the new parts came first in white colour. The red one still has the pullback motor.

Ferrari F40, V1.3:
A new front ...

... and a new side view.

These are the new side panels.

BMW 2002t, V1.1:
_Tiler started a new wave of '02 redesigns with his first 2002 turbo on flickr. When SSSW updated his 2002, too, I realized that their versions where closer to the real model than my one. So my one had to follow...

The new side view: A longer rear end and a longer and higher greenhouse section.

A smaller set of chrome wheels, just like the usual 15" rims from the 70s. By the way: Don't miss _Tylers latest version of the '02 on flickr, it's awesome!

Bugatti Veyron, V1.2:
A new front and a new windshield.

Nothing new on the rear end.

Audi sport quattro S1 (new colours only):
There are finally some 1x1x1 "cheese wedges" in yellow colour for the front wing.

The white Y spoke rims work really well, too (When will they finally produce the classic Tiny Turbo rims in white colour? They would be perfect!)

KITT (2000), V1.1:
Some new wheel arches on the front here, too.

Last but not least: The 1989 movie Batmobile:
New front wheel arches and new side panels.

Bonus picture:
Time for "The Duel" ;-)

Wait! Me, too ...

These are the updates for some of my 4-wides. I hope you like them :-))

Wont be long before you got the complete "The Need For Speed" collection : ) Excellent details in 4-wide. Would love too see some landscaping to go with them. Just a small brickbuilt scaled figure would go a long way.

They are all great, but I love the Batmobile best, I think. Couldn't be done better in this scale. Love the BMW and KITT, too. Great job on those, pal!

Quoting Sven Jagdmann ... Btw, is the white car in the background of the first (main) and last pic a Honda NSX? Reminds me a lot on it.
We have a winner! :-)) I think, I'll make a red one for Mr. Wolf ;-)) More photos will follow, as well as another "long time project".

Great stuff Nils! The new 1x2 slopes are excellent pieces - My latest Prowler uses 29 of them, and I'm only 45% done! The Bug is looking excellent, as is the 2002. Top work matey!

Close, but this one is from another "island" ;-) It's so fast, it's able to reach a point "30 minutes away" in less than ten... ;-)

Great updates. Those half bows (half speed bumps I call them) are so useful. Still loving the Porsche.
