About this creation

So, here we go. My latest set review! This is for "76011 Batman: Man-Bat Attack" from the DC Superheroes range. Here you can see everything you get. The box, 1 instruction manual, a comic and the set itself.

So here is the chopper. Nicely designed it's a good size and weight. It looks very Batman-like and everything works well. However I still don't get why LEGO insist on only putting 2 blades on their helicopters?

The cockpit opens as such, allowing Batman to fit inside. Also as is the must with every play-able LEGO set, here are the flick-fire missiles.

Here you can see the winch cable at the back of the 'copter. The engines also twist as shown here.

The tail rotor and Bat-fin.

Nightwing's jetpack is a very nice design and possibly my favourite part of the set.

The rear of the pack. Yes, that is a sticker.

The three figures. Batman in his standard black outfit and usual double sided face. Nightwing is clearly based on the New 52 version as he is red rather than blue. Personally I wish they'd stuck with the old blue colour scheme but hey-ho. The figure is very nice though. I really like him. Man-Bat uses the same bat/person parts from the recent Monster Fighter's theme and the Black variant from the CMFs. Still, he is very nicely done though.

The backs. All have double sided faces. Batman's is the same as always. Nightwing's gives him a smirk to match his mentor's and Man-Bat gets a worried, rather comic expression.

Here are the spare parts.

And finally a close up of what I think is a new part. I've never seen these before anyway. A round 2x2 plate with a hole in the middle. Sorry for the blurry photo.

Review:
I really like this set. The figures are cool, especially Nightwing. The helicopter is a nice addition to Batman's vehicle collection and is well built and the whole set is fun to play with. For once, LEGO have got the price right too. £19.99 is fine for this one.

Later this year, I will be trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to raise money for the "Meningitis Research Foundation." Please sponsor me so that I can reach my goal and get to the top of the highest free-standing mountain in the world!

Great! It is my birthday tomorrow, and my dad my brother and sister just headed off to town (I live in the mountains) and I asked for this set! Looks like it has some cool parts! The round 2x2 tile with a hole in it (I think), is new, I got one with this set : http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=mcafee&type=A111US105&p=Logging+truck+LEGO (You can see it at the bottom of all the round yellow peaces that hold up the thing that the guy sits on) I hope I get it! Sorry, I can't help you raise money, but good luck! ;)

Im not a fan of batman or any super hero by lego but it seems this set is well designed. I like the small glider too.
