The Hobbit: A Collaboration- "Escape from The Orcs"
This is a collaboration my two younger brothers and I made. It is the scene in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" where Gandalf and the company are being chased by wargs and find shelter underneath a large rock. We really liked that scene from the movie so we decided to build it! Enjoy!!
About this creation

Here is the desperate company, making their way as quickly as possible into the rock.

Here is the rockwork, we decided to use some olive green and mix in a substantial amount of tan. It has a rather rugged feel to it.

And, the back of the rock, which has a very nice roundness to it.

A little side angle here, kinda gives a better sense of depth. Thanks for viewing, critiques and comments appreciated!

Great rockwork! I think this is a nice scene, but it looks a little flat to me. I know the scene was fairly flat in the movie, but maybe try adding some hills or trenches.

great style of build, but as previously said, it could be improved by smaller rocks on the edges, and the tan/olive combo doesn't really work here, I'm afraid. still, its a great build!

Wow great rockwork, this is probably my favourite MOC of yours so far. Just as a personal preference I would have liked to see some more smaller rocks around the edges but again, personal preference. Great job, you get a smiley face. (:

Nice work, though the landscaping is pretty barren aside from the center rockwork. And on those rocks - nice shaping and design, but the olive green next to dark tan just looks...weird. :P

Nice one...although I think the rockwork has too many colors in it, maybe remove some of the dark tan and olive green...

Great work! The rockwork and ground layering is nicely done! I suggest removing most of the olive cheese. After a few builds with it, I've realized that it looks very unorthodox.

Quoting Professor B. Looks like J-rod's. :P Nice rockwork. The ground has some nice textures too.
Thanks! Ironically, I just checked out J-rods and hadn't seen it before. Lol. We built this with the scene from the movie paused on our television for reference…
