Gundam Midi Model (Mixel Ball Joints)
a Mobile Suit using my new midi (Mixel) ball joint frame V1...
About this creation
The Mixel / Chima Legends joints are now on LDD so you can download my basic frame. Here's a Gundam based on my new midi (mixel) ball joint frame V1 . Super poseability and great fun! This model is equipped with a beam rifle, two beam sabers and a shield. Looking forward to building more of these in this scale! Enjoy!

Ha ha!! Excellent this new midi model! Very detailed despite the mid-size. Love the pose with the "kick"!

travis brick on the same technic pin as the ankle - not a legal fit in reality - its a loose fit but it stays on but is wobbly - the shoulders keep it in place.
Quoting andros tempest I am sensing shenanigans going on with the head. I just cannot figure out how to create something similar in LDD. My working theory is a 1x1 brick with studs on all sides attached using either a round stud (therefore not a ball joint) or, a technic pin jammed inside ( which while possible in real bricks is not possible in LDD). Either way, It's been a head scratcher trying to figure it out.

hope they put the joints on PAB soon!
Quoting El Barto ! Cool rig, Dude! It's got all the features of the larger scale. But yeah, if you're buying whole sets just to get those joints, I can see how it gets expensive in a hurry. Nice work!

Well a couple a week is a lot - you should see my collection - I don't recycle many of my creations so as you can image they have their own room and are outgrowing it ... http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/278022
Quoting Alexander Dakote Agh! I can't get enough of your creations! I wish you could make a new one every two hours!!

only if the joints become available on PAB - you don't want to know what this little guy cost me as I had to buy a more than a few sets to get what I needed. Not cost effective just yet!
Quoting Mithryl Altaire Sweet gundam! I have a feeling these mini ball joints are going to completely replace t-bone joints as the standard for mini-mecha.

I post to Flickr so do many other's probably a good place - though you need an Yahoo account as of last week - Glad you like the frame! Rock on!
Quoting Clever Crowe Already using that Frame I picked up from your E-Bay store to mess around with some Tenkai Hybrids (although, I've no idea where I'll be allowed to Post them... perhaps might be time to finally set up a Flickr account, ...~ick~... Ah, well.) Like this one, too - those joints might also make it into the hybrids somewhere. It's been tough deciding whether to use these for Mid-scale, or Micro when mixing them with T.K. Great work, as always - and folks: Support BWTMT! Buy stuff! MOC on! =)

Very impressive. Those new joints are a mini-scaler's dream. Now we can have even smaller mecha without losing functionality! I need to get some of these and make Ultimate Zero.
