Whoa, what?! What happened to the stats?! >:O People said that they liked the idea of the stat system, but I decided to take it one step further. ;D If you're confused, refer to the guide I posted in the comments down below.
True Alchemist/Skill+5 when a tome is equipped
Revengeance/Adds damage taken to attack (Activation=skill/2)
Prediction/Strike first even when under attack (Activation=skill/2)
Ignis/Add half of STR or ELE to the other value (Activation=skill)
[An Introduction to Alchemy]: In my universe, alchemy exists as an artificial element that can potentially be used by all toa with a reasonably strong control over their element. It grants the user some control over all six of the basic elements and can be used to devastating effect if one combines two or more elements together. However, alchemy can only be used if one is in possession of a tome, a book who's inscriptions can be used to manipulate the various elements. But those that performed self-transmutation can mysteriously perform alchemy without the use of a tome. The legendary Elric's Codrex can be used to manipulate all six elements on an unprecedentedly advanced level.
Not much is known about Torvis's past. When he was a part of the Clan of Elric, he was a young prodigy of sorts, combating many opponents that should have bested him in battle. He also had an unnamed childhood friend. The two would often run around pulling pranks and acting as buffoons around the Clansmen. One day, while he and his friend were off running around on the outskirts of this sector of Omni-Koro, they were ambushed by bandits. Torvis fought like a demon to protect himself and his friend, but their numbers got the best of him and his friend was fatally wounded in the encounter. After he'd driven the bandits off, he performed the most capital taboo in the clan: Self-Transmutation. He used his right arm and left leg to create artificial tissue to save his friend. For that, he was exiled from the clan, but was given the sacred Elric's Codrex by the clan chief. Oddly enough, Torvis was able to manipulate alchemy without the use of a tome from this point on.
From here on, Torvis began to see the evils in the world around him and like Agaru, vowed to stop them. One day, he encountered a toa unit that was pinned down by several mercenaries. Torvis made his way over to them and used his tactical skills to help them organize an escape route. The toa revealed themselves as members of the Order of the Last Legacy and attempted to recruit Torvis. Realizing this chance, Torvis accepted the offer and became a member of the Last Legacy. It was there that he was introduced to another member that was looking to form a squad. The captain of the newly founded Squad 22 was none other than the Toa Ikanuva, Cordaz. The two grew close over the many years and quickly became the best of friends. Eventually, they recruited another Squad member, Agaru into the group. Currently, the three operate under the Legacy, taking down scum that threaten the thriving planet-wide city of Omni-Koro.
Now, before we go on to the MOC...
Whew, this is finally up! I'm a busy guy, please try to understand, but I didn't mean to forget/neglect you guys! Hopefully this creation makes up for my tardiness! >_<
Torvis: "Quit hogging the limelight, you over-dramatic ignoramus!
Landing the Fourth Blow
Anyway, I'm very glad this is finally out! :D Ever since I revealed there were three members of Squad 22, I've been itchin' to build this sunuvagun. Problem was, I was sitting on a builder's block and if you read my State of Affairs, you'd know I was very busy.
As mentioned before, Torvis is the third member of Cordaz's squad 22. I'm actually quite pleased with how he turned out (mostly). I think I managed to capture the look I was going for and that he looks nice.
Torso shot. I'm lovin' it. I like the way that I managed to use that black bohrok shield and that minute bit of KK armor. The red armor is supposed to convey a jacket/cloak which I think was executed well. And I guess those two blue lights in his chest are...um...Okay, fine, you got me! I don't have any black versions of that piece. >:O
His mechanical arm. It's simple, but I can't do much with it considering how short the figure is. :P
His left twig of an arm. Believe me, I tried to get it the least bit of armored possible, but again, the damn length kept messing me up! >:P
Mugshot profile. Not much to say here. :/
Back. I like the way the Metru-toran torso covers up the back. Dat gear piece is supposed to be an insignia of sorts (Seriously!)
Legs. I think they, along with the torso are the most streamlined part of this build. Sadly, the feet aren't articulated. :(
Oh yeah, and poseable coat tails FTW! xD
The neck was kind of an issue, and for that, the articulation suffers. You didn't want him to be hunchbacked, now would you? ;P
I like this shoulder design. I derived inspiration from A zelda MOC and adapted it to fit Torvis's standards.
Torvis wielding the famous Elric's Codrex. He often keeps it tucked under his arm when it is not in use.
Because he has yet to fully comprehend its power, you can often catch him observing and reading from it in his spare time (When he isn't planning battle strategies).
"All right! Time for a demonstration!"
"Fine, but this better not-ARRRGH! HOT! HOT! HOT!"
Torvis's skill with alchemy is prodigious to begin with, but he can attain incredible levels with the use of the Codrex.
He can even cause weapons to spring from the ground! :D
Why carry around a bunch of clunky weapons when you can just pull one out of the ground whenever you please? ^_^
When close encounters are necessary (and to his mechanic's dismay), he can transmute his arm into a blade and various other tools. :O
I am the Fullmetal Alchemist!
Random Flying Ninja attack pose.
Hmm, looks like a tool for stab-based attacks?
A pincer! Can probably fight rahi with it, eh?
And my favorite...
A multipurpose claw!
Boy, I bet it's satisfying to rake this across somebody's face. xD
For what it's worth, here's a picture of him without his prosthetics. He looks so helpless! xD
And a shot of his prosthetics by themselves. I modified them from how they appeared in the previews to correspond with his new height.
"Hey, Cordaz, let's spar again!"
"Silly Torvis, don't you know what my element is?"
"Kane-Ra Dung! That's the third one this week!"
Random poses time!
Hey, look! It's the Elric Bro-*AHEM*- I mean the....shoot, I didn't think that one through. >_<
"Hey Cordaz, why are you so happy today?"
"Oh, it's just that I'm not Sushiman's shortest MOC anymore!" :D
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK. NOW."
"Alright guys, let's put it in!"
Agaru: "Hmph. It's about time."
"On my count, 1...2...
FOR FREEDOM WE RIIIIISE!!!
All three members of Squad 22 assembled! (heh heh, get it? :3)
And all of the characters from my Last Legacy story line up-to-date. If someone were to make posters out of the above two pics...You'd be my eternal buddy! :3
BYE!!! SEE YOU AGAIN!!!
And that concludes what I have to say on Torvis, the Flare Alchemist. :D I know, you're probably fearing the worse and that I'll enter another multi-month long hibernation, but I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to avoid that. If anyone has any suggestions for my new stat system, do speak up! And of course, I'd really appreciate criticism and suggestions! :D
And of course, for all of you who aren't anime fans that are currently screaming in delight, here's your reference pic. :)
I hope you enjoyed this creation! Stay tuned for more!
Nice! I like the red coat thing, it turned out nicely! Funny that he has poseable coattails but his feet aren't poseable =P The only thing I don't like is the white hands, I get they're supposed to look like gloves but I'm just not feelin' it. Nice work overally though!
Ugh, I forgot to post it, whoops. :P

This guy's pretty awesome! I reeaaally like how you made the red look like a cloak, it looks great! And the new stats look cool as well, but at the time that I'm posting this comment, the one you said you'd have didn't get on the page yet :P. All in all, great MOC!
