Starscream's Brigade (Micro-Mood Scale)
Here are the next in my fully transformable micro Transformers (I call them Micro-formers), Starscream's Brigade! I'll eventually build all of the Decepticon jet variations, but, for now, I just wanted to build the original G1 trio: Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp. Each fig consists of 37 pieces and transforms from robot to jet. The wings and rocket launchers are the only parts that need removed and reattached during transformation. If anyone is interested in any Lego/art commissions, you can contact me at kryhal@yahoo.com. I'll be starting my own Facebook page featuring various custom Lego models and art for sale in the very near future. So, whatcha think?

Quoting No Name How did you get the aircraft nose to it? For me, it simply falls away ... (Sorry for my bad English)
I used a brick with studs on all sides for the heads. Then I attached "c clip" plates to the sides of the head. Then I attached a pnuematic "t" piece. Finally, I placed the cone (nose) on the end of the "t" piece. Hope that makes sense. Andros Tempest has an LDD file with instructions on his page.

loving these little guys - I want some. I need to build another transformer soon. Thanks for your words on my latest, I have responded to your comment on the mixel joints.

Amazing! So simple, yet it works! I like it. From my own experiences with my Skywarp, I know how difficult these guys can be. I salute you, sir! Edit- Now that I think about it, I used a very similar base for my Quote and Curly Brace.

Nice! Great models...I had Starscream as a kid (sadly no LEGO Starscream).

I've tried recreating these guys in LDD, before I read the full description, and wondered why I was having problems getting the wings the right way up in vehicle form when transforming them. By the way, I must have used a different solution to something as I get the part count to 35? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/386524

Quoting Chris Phipson I think I need to build a few and "swoosh" them around BrickWorld this year. ~ Chris.
They're easy enough to build. I'd love to see some at BW.

Quoting Callan LoF These are pretty cute. Although I can't tell how the wings fold back from the transformation. Do you have to remove them or do they actually flip back. Sorry, but I have a little bit of annoyance for "parts-formers" and I was just curious if this was one or not. :)
Thanks. Read the intro: the wings need to be removed and reattached.

I definitely plan on making more of these. Probably Bumblebee and Cliffjumper soon. I think that next I'll tackle a combiner at this scale. :)
