So this was going to be my entry for Chris Roach's "Epic Legoformer Contest", but I was unable to complete a video on time. So oh well!
Don't expect a video explaining how to transform Conquest. Or instructions on how to build him. I'm sorry, but I don't have the time or the recources. :/
Anyways, on to the creation/bio!
Conquest is the leader of an elite Decepticon task force nicknamed "The Four Horsemen". Shrouded in mystery, the group of four is believed to be older than Megatron himself, but were eager to join and support his reign of tyrrany.
The back of the vehicle. I think I'm most proud of this specific part regarding detail. :D
The side. I also like the way the stripe along the side really makes him "pop".
Finally, the vehicle mode without his crossbow mounted on top. I almost had it just sitting on the vehicle with the "wings" pointing out, but I found a way to make them fold in to actually look really nice.
The robot mode. I like the way this guy turned out. Although his forearms are a little scrawny, and he is EXTREMELY back heavy, I think he looks good! (if I do say so myself)
Conquest's main weapon: his double-barreled crossbow. (Get it? Because the in the original four horsemen, conquest's weapon was a crossbow....ok, so I'm not that clever)
Kneel to me!
A close-up of the head. As you can see, I stole Chris Roach's face design of a 1x2 hinge and a cheese brick.
And to finish it off, my solution for Conquest's "back-heaviness" - a simple display stand. No, it cannot be stored in vehicle mode. Shame.
Well done with the Chris Roach shout out there, the face is almost identical to his Megatron design. The build is pretty good, the concept reminds me somewhat of RID Scourge but not so much that I can't imagine this as a new character in his own right. Vehicle is smashing, I mean totally brilliant. Robot mode proportions might have been better but are great. Plus it transforms, always a major bonus for a legoformer.

Good work here, he's a beast! Too bad you couldn't get it into the contest, I also ran out of time on that one. Still, good to see that you finished it - looking forward to the other three!
Hahaha thanks! I can't wait to build the rest of them either!
