From an little idea i came nearer to an overall shape.
About this creation
The only problem is, that my computer crashes sometimes down, cause of the crazy curve isn't as easy in LDD as in real life... ;-)

I think it looks smaller than it goes ;-)
I'm near to 120studs in length and about 4000 bricks are done

O.k. some shots ;-)

I'm not sure how to end the big wings... but straight i don't know how this looks...

from above

the back middle end

Inside the cockpit

To get no collapse while doing the curve i colour the bricks differnt...

Critic is welcome ;-) !

" I love how you build brick curves in LDD. I haven't the patience to do that. The brick-built logo is great work." said David Roberts. ----- I am like David :-) no patience for brick curves in LDD. I think, I should work hard on myself and should start to build curves, too. They look just amazing. Very well done. Can't wait for the finished product. Keep builing!

This will be very special. Innovation and beauty in one stunning piece of work.

While it's awesome, that shape just seems wrong for some reason. Maybe a bullet shape would work better? A long fuselage connecting the two parts you've built and extending the engine part you've built a bit would be my suggestion.

Not a waste of Blacktron II coasters at all. I like the curves, good luck finishing the build!

Quoting Stephan Schumann Awesome work! Even its not finished, this gonna be one of the most unique and brilliant space-ship-design, ever! Dimensions are a bit hard to realize on the computer...and i know it by myself, that the calculation of the programm can cause an breakdown... Still, i am amazed that you are walking your line! Fine Art!
Thanks Stephan ;-) yes it's not always easy to go the way through LDD - but that's also a nice challenge to get things right. Or better said to get in LDD what is in real easy possible... ;-)

Quoting Locutus 666 Das Ding hat was. Bin gespannt wies weiter geht.
Ich auch .... ;-) !!!

Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head I am not a huge fan of the Blacktron II logo, but this ship is a crazy good idea. I've never seen the bricks curve like that. I can't wait to see the finished ship.
Thank you ! the bricks curve isn't really a new way. search for "brick-bending" - mostly used for castle walls, or things like a flower vase

Quoting matt rowntRee Okay, this is just phenomenally amazing! Love the shape. I also love the stripes in the back edges, great resolution for what could have been too plain. It's all very reminiscent of the original Blacktron sets with their modularity. I can see many different platforms with the same cockpit and engines. Even a land vehicle similar to the M-tron 6-wheeler. Utterly fantastic!
THank you Matt ;-) ! in the fact that i'm still in the planing process - you defenitly bring me some ideas ;-) !

Quoting clayton Marchetti This is awesome and huge! It's hugely awesome! I like the Blacktron symbol incorporated into the engine struts very cool. I can't wait to see it finished!
Thank you ! - to get the logo in the wings was a work of hours alone...
