"My daddy is working for Lego!!". I wonder what could be the most important: the proud look of your son or the proud look of your Lego mates? ... Anyway, that very impressive!! The subtle work on colors and details is stunning. Congrats for this "promotion" more than deserved.

Quoting Cheryl P You did quite well with Megalosaurus. 117 likes and over a 1900 views. You are also the first spot on around Mocpages on the main page. So, I guess I won't be throwing any Lego bricks if people did not appreciate this wonderful creation enough.
Thanks Cheryl :). I am delighted with the response and am pleased to hear that no bricks will be thrown at your house ;). A big thank you to and everyone else who have supported this moc.

Dear all, thanks so much for all your comments they have really made this build special for me. I was slightly anxious to post this and to let you know of my good fortune of getting this job. It was a case of being in the right place at the right time and I know how lucky I am - there are many builders far more talented and deserving but it goes to show that anything is possible. Fantastic to hear people have visited the show, I also helped with the mammoth and moa. To answer some of the questions below, every piece has been glued. There is a steel structure inside securing the lowerjaw but the head and jaw are fully self supporting on their own. The head was constructed like an upside down hull of a boat hollow with ribs supporting the outer shell. When I have my internet connection back I can post some wip photos if people are interested. Thank you all again and I look forward to responding to other questions when I return. Joe

Congratulations, Joe! The build is perfect (and impressive!) but above all, I would like to encourage you with your professional builds. Build them for us, who don't have your luck! Yet? ;-) PS: is it glued? Does it have a steel or wood internal structure?

Magnificent. Enjoyed very much seeing this at Milestones - I was much struck by how you did the eyes; very clever! I'd have missed the butterflies on the lights if Alex hadn't pointed them out - nice touch! Nice to see Tom's birds there, too; and was that Ralph's Jurassic Park jeep ? It was all brilliant.

Awwww, he just want to play! Go fetch the wifey! Go get her! XD That is just way too cool, Joe. Fantastic work but more importantly is the real joy I see going into this and the other builds. Not that it wasn't there before, but there seems to be a reinvigorated, wide-eyed youthful outlook behind these. I admire that leap and am, of course, completely envious. ;) Such a great pleasure to see these come from you. Hopefully the fingers hold out. XD Thank you for reinvigorating our own hopes for a happy childhood. ;) Absolutely wonderful!

Quoting Ape Fight Whaaaaat?! Whaaaaat?!!! You're a pro Lego Builder!!! Sorry for all the exclamation marks but I can't begin to describe my awe at both this amazing, incredible build, and also your new career direction! This looks like a professional Lego builder's work, and I guess that's because it is! 5 stars of course, plus a very very happy face for you : D
Thank you so much Ape. To be honest I still can't really believe it. They offered me the job late last year. I had to really think about it and it was not easy leaving my surveying career behind, but I am having so much fun. I am a very lucky boy!!! I owe you a big thank you because it was my CRT builds that made me go to STEAM and that is where I meet Bright Bricks. Thanks buddy :D

Quoting Peter Szabo Hi Joe! Oh my God! Absolutely mouth dropping experience in LEGO and for the visitors too! How many pieces are in the creation?!
Thanks Peter, to be honest I do not know but it must be in the range of 5 - 10,000. It took me 26 days to build (8 hours a day).

Quoting sam the first Now that is ace. Admittedly I still am fond of them now, but in my slightly younger years, it was just cars, dinosaurs and sharks, in that order. So, I know that looks fantastic. The shaping is just so, and the teeth look perfect, and the angle of it's mouth and the eyes make it come alive. Definitely the best of the animals, your best creation AAAAAND one of my favorite creations ever!!
Thank you so much sam. It was an extremely difficult build but worth it in the end. I think everybody loves dinosaurs :D
