FINALLY, it's done!! A large scale - finished! W.I.P after W.I.P, Vipers, GTOs, Supras....and I have finally got a large scale done...
About this creation
Anyway, the car. This is the Prowler Radic, the first of the Prowler line up. It's a luxury hypercar thing, like a Huayra - a GT when you need it, a track-THING when you want it. The front took two or three attempts, and I'm still not overly pleased. The rear was hard to make (thanks to the 'exhaust surroundings), but I like how the tail lights turned out. A lot. The side is shapely, credit to a certain someone - in fact, there's a lot of credit to give. The Radic is made for driver pleasure - the only thing between you and the engine is the back of the seats and a titanium mesh. Like the Audi RS5, every time you change gear, up or down, a drop of fuel is dropped into the exhaust, giving a flame and a satisfying crackle. Also, an entry to Motoring March!
Here are some nerdy stats.

1:16 SCALE MODEL-
-DIMENSIONS -
LENGTH:36 STUDS/4608MM
HIEGHT :10 STUDS/1280MM
WIDTH: 16 STUDS/2048MM

-ENGINE
MID-ENGINED 5.0 L TWINTURBO v10, 800BHP, 756 LB FT.

OTHER -
INDEPENDAENT SUSPENSION, BUTTERFLY DOORS, SINGLE EXHAUST.

I hope you enjoy!

FIRST - A HUGE THANKS TO DIGITAL DREAMS FOR HELPING MAKE THE RENDERINGS FASTER. 20 HOURS, DOWN TO 40/50 MINUETS.

The front. Looks too technical in my opinion, but not too shabby. Note the wheels- I found out the blades fit when mucking around.
Prowler Radic - front

Side, credit to Lego Builder Jr. for the shaping of the doors. Two intakes, some nice flowing lines - not bad.
Prowler Radic - side

Now my favorite pert - the rear. I wanted an exhaust that would stand out, an went through many ideas - formation shape of a pentagon, pentagon shape tips, jelly bean shaped tips - but I think this is the wackiest. Also, the shaping is a success as far as my skills go.
Prowler Radic - rear

A front-side shot. getting a better idea of the line that runs from the tip, above the door and to the spoiler
Prowler Radic - front 1/4

The rear 3/4. Evil. Pointy. Blue.
Prowler Radic - rear-ariel

Now for some functions - active spoiler!! A first for me! It was good fun to make, and would have worked so much better in real.
Prowler Radic - Active Spoiler

Another first - butterfly doors. A lot of fun to make!
Prowler Radic - butterfly doors.

Looking through the glass cover to my best engine yet - more about that later.
Prowler Radic - engine cover.

The interior - unfortunately, quite a dark image.
Prowler Radic - interior

Now for all open! Sadly, the system I used for the engine cover to open, didn't work, so now it just comes off easily.
Prowler Radic - Everything 'Open'

Underneath the body, you can see Malte's suspension from his fabulous Peugeot 908. Also, you can see...
Prowler Radic - under the skin

The engine!! As you can see, it's a twin-turbo V10. One low-high rev turbo, one mid-high turbo, to attempt to eliminate any lag. Still room for improvement, building wise, but I'm relatively happy.
Prowler Radic - full engine.

Door technique...
The door...

A better shot of the interior.
interior

So, there you go...

But there's more!!!

I also made a convertible version, in original Prowler colours. The roof is a bit messy, but ANOTHER first, at this scale.
Prowler Radic Spyder - front

See...
Prowler Radic Spyder - rear

Had to be done.
Prowler Drift

Thanks for viewing, hoping for more!

Quoting Nate Andrews Relatively happy?! If I built an engine that awesome, I'd be happy to the point of cackling like a madman. The shaping and the mechanism for the doors would probably also have the same effect. 5/5, no questions asked.
Thanks Mate, I appreciate that! I'm pleased with the engine, but my next one coming is even better...

You have put many nice details in this car and I can see many special pieces used in this car. My favourit part is definitely the front. It has such an great, big air vent and these angled bars really let it look dynamic and powerful. Also the engine with the turbos ( I like turbos a lot ) is a real surprise and looks spectacular.
