About this creation
Choose any Lego set released in the year 2003 or earlier and redesign it. Add more details, change the minifigures, smooth it out more, do what you want to make it your own! On your entry page, provide the set number and name of the set you redesigned. If you need help finding a Lego set to remake or set name/number, the center column titled "Sets released inů" sorts Lego sets by year released.

Well I chose this beautiful little tug boat. A set which I always wanted, and as it turned out so did my team mate Matt. The main drive was to build a brick built hull that captured the original's shape. Unfortunately it doesn't float, that snot built hull is way too heavy. I hope some nostalgia has been shared.

It is a challenge gauging how far you take these rebuilds. I think I got it about right.

Quoting Tim C You made all the right changes on this one, David. The work on the hull is especially well done. Definitely an improvement on the original fabricated piece. The only thing it's missing is a huge sea serpent with plans of devouring our sailors;) This is looking like a pretty solid MocAthalon for you. Best of luck.
