Taliarn Freighter capital ship escort
About this creation
This is the Guardian Class Freighter Escort. It's also Polaros Tech's first venture into the Capital Ship business.
With two rapid fire laser cannons, a high powered Fusion Turret, two torpedo tubes, and strong shielding and armor, this roughly teardrop shaped capital ship is mainly used for escorting cargo ships(the name might give you a clue) this is also used as a line-of-war ship, being the main part of the Taliarn Defense Fleet. It has a crew of three, a Captain, who controls the ship and generally everything else, the Systems Officer, who controls the ships systems, and the Defense Officer, who mans the guns. Unlike most ships, this capital ship has a human crew, instead of a computer controlling everything, because humans cannot be hacked or tampered with. It also has a maintenance robot, who prepares the meals, helps with the cargo, and just helps around. Since the war started, the Taliarn Defense Fleet has issued two soldiers onboard each craft, in case of boarding. The ship has a staggered outside, so that it reflects sensor scans, making it appear small. it's coloring also helps it vanish into the backdrop of space.
This ship is very agile and fast, despite the strong, hard armor.
It also has a good bit of space for extra cargo, to maximize profits.
It's inexpensive, for how advanced it is, but still costs a good bit. Even so, it is well worth the money, being one of the best battleships for the price, plenty strong, well armed, and it's sensors are unmatched by almost anyone.

Here is the main Fusion Turret. It's supremely powerful, although it takes a lot of power.

Top view, you can see the Teardrop shape clearly.

Here's the shield generator. The shield can take a good amount of hits, and the generator itself is actually defended by it's own shield.

Here's the armored side, which also takes power from the starlight, thus very efficient.

This shot gives you a feel for it, and here it is in action, notice the rapid fire cannons firing gold lasers, and the turrets blue fusion laser.

Back view of the Starlit powered engines. These monsters are super powerful.

Here's the overview of the interior, with the crew and the two soldiers. The Sergeant(the one with the white helmet) is napping, the lazy bum.

Another of the interior. The Taliarn Soldiers are keeping an eye on things. Look at the captain's chair.

Here the captain's chairs pads and computer's have folded in. They open to let him in or out.

And the final shot, the crew and the robot. Why the Systems Officer still has a datasphere in his hand, is beyond me.
This project took me about a week, but I think it turned out rather well.
Thanks everyone for the reviews
and high ratings!

Good, Although I get the feeling you just sticked some pieces on there for the sake of it. But there are alot of nice details and I really like that you managed to build an interior!

Thanks for the reviews. I like the unique shape of this one, and the color scheme looks good. I'm not sure how large your collection is, but I'd encourage you to try making some bigger ships - I can tell you the level of challenge and fun increases exponentially with size! Which reminds me, it's been a while since I tried my hand at making massive warships. Keep up the good work. |

Looks kinda like a smashed up Millennium Falcon. I like it. In your review, you stated that you have some type of military problem. I would just like to inform you, before you make your final decision, that the Elite Delta Alliance will help you in any military problem. |
