RM-047 Valvrave IV Hinowa – Valvrave The Liberator
Originally I was hoping to build all four Valvraves that appeared in the series that I’ve seen so far, but Optimus Exprime is being a much tougher nut to crack. So, instead, I only made two and the Guncannon. I’ll make more in the future, though. Don’t worry at all. Also, I changed the name to include the Japanese style numbers at the beginning of the MOC. So, the defining feature of Valvrave four is that it comes with extra legs that can split on the back. The other feature is the wheels on the shoulders. Surprisingly, I managed to make them pretty accurately without using any non-PAB pieces. It was pretty cool. Anyway, I’ll leave you with the rest of this MOC. Also, please note that some of the text has been copied from Valvrave One, as it applies to this one as well.

Before I get on with the MOC, I’ll embed a trailer of the series so that you can get an idea of what this is about. Also, you can stream it on Goodanime.net and download it at Realitylapse.com. Also, do not confuse this for a cartoon. This is ANIME. Also, if you’re under sixteen, I’d recommend you don’t watch this. There’s a rather, um, controversial scene a third of the way through. I can’t really say what it is, as I’d like to keep this G-Rated. Still, the animation’s great, and if you skip over that scene then it’s a great anime. Also, no spoilers. I’m only up to episode 18 so far…

So, here we have Valvrave #4 out of the series. Strangely enough, it was actually the second Valvrave to make an appearance. I still haven’t seen #2 so far.

From the back, you can see that the legs are attached to the back. They aren’t completely accurate, but they work.

Something that did turn out accurately, though, was the shoulder wheels.

This image, plus scenes from the anime, was/were used for reference. I only built the black one, as there aren’t many images of the white one.

Here’s just a size comparison with the other Valvrave (black version) and the Guncannon. This now concludes the main part of this MOC.

Here’s a quick update on what Spectre looks like in 3D animation mode. I showed some progress in the 15 Piece Vehicle Challenge Entry and the Gundam 79 Guncannon. For those who don’t know what the hell this is, allow me to explain. Spectre was a MOC I made a long time ago, and I’ve continued to update it. It almost became my self MOC, but I never made that happen. However, at the start of the school term, I began a 3D animation course. I am supposed to design a robotic character, and who was a better candidate? So, I’ve been putting updates in my MOCs. And good news! I’m finally finished the modelling and texturing!

Still, animating’s a different story. The only thing that can move here…

…is the eye stalk.

Here’s a view from the back, where the top of the car fits. And yes, I hope to make it transform.

Spectre: ALL SHOW BOW BEFORE MY MIGHT, FOR I WIELD THE SCYTHE OF PERFECTION!

Spectre: Actually, I don’t have it. It wasn’t modelled yet…

To finish off, here’s a quick sneak peek at what’s to come. This is Optimus Exprime, a Japanese version of Optimus Prime that appears in the anime disaster, ‘Transformers Go!’. The series sucks, the toys do too, but the new design for Optimus Prime (in anime form, not toy form) is actually pretty cool. So, here’s two promo pictures. The first shows the vehicle mode in the finished IRL model

The second shows what I’ve done in LDD so far. At the time of posting this, this is ALL I’ve done. There’s still a lot to go, but thankfully the legs are done, and they’re the hardest bit.

Well, that’s it! Download the instructions, comment, like and add me as a fave builder. Also, if you want to see a mecha built this way, comment below. And no; no mecha from Evangelion, Gurren Laagun or Kill La Kill. The first two, I will NOT watch because I cannot be bothered and the third, well, for those who have seen it they should know why. Just apply what was said earlier about the one episode of Valvrave and apply it to every episode of this anime. Anyway, as always, happy building!

Quoting Rick Amsler I am going to be honest: I have absolutely no idea what this is, but you did a good job in the construction process.
Don't know what it is? That's what the trailer is for! :P
