Landinggear missing, yet!
About this creation

The Delta-class Shuttle serves for the Empire on its try to overtake the Rebell-Base on the Snow-Planet 'Hoth' Darth Vader landed with such!

Some computer-game referrences show more downwards-sloping side-Wings, I like the 'symetric triangle' design ( sidenote, the wings are not aerodaynamic, but stabilisation-device carriers, and shield-heat-radiators, so far sw-facts.)

Randome-view:

authentic diagonal ion-engine thrusters

Wing-folding-action ( by one thumb-wheel at the rear)

The cockpit serves as escape-pod

It has an own ion-engine

Rear Turbo-laser Turret

in action

Interiour-views ( ten comfty-passanger-seats):

The 'coffee-maker'

entrance to the cockpit

'safe'

gangway to the Maintenance-Level ( theorectic there's also an bathroom down there...)

engine-control-console

ion-reactor

left side: laserarms-rack

'gaming-tables'

Holocron-Conferrence-Table

'Imperial-Radio'

oxigen-pressure-bottle - part of the lifesystems

Astromech-Droid

ok, an bad-pic, but you may notice the gunners-console

the gunner-minifig has an one-stud-space on each side to enter his turret from the inside, theoretically - hi's not jailed outsides...
also these rotation-contruction garaties some playable friction

completely detached shuttle

overview over the wing-mech

an excenter driven by an gearbox goes on two big gearwheels

these big gearwheels goes over 'middle' ones to the wings outside

Ok, i tried to be too clever, the folding-unfolding-action is not very smooth, but it works!

bottom design

why i used the astromech-bodies as ion-reactor, you may guess from the next pictures

but first i show an damage from an wheel, that was not stable enough for the weight of the wings

yes i made my own astromechs, by using 'scissored' lego-stickers

-because they are scaled better compared to an minifig

unfortunately there's no retractable landinggear, yet, i am searching for an trick to drive them by the wing-rotation for five studs out

the hoth-display-rack

now with Imperial Hoth-Characters:

I hope there are enough pictures; If not, you may look at, twice.

Also I hope you enjoyed and leave an comment, thanks already!

Bye, may you have a good time!

Quoting Jesse Horn Your ship is awesome. Would you consider adding it to Lego Cuusoo? Because they are opening to new ideas.
Thanks! Maybe the brick-costs over 400 Euros, are not suitable for Cuusoo...

Quoting Michael K. Awesome interior! I would suggest you make the blue markings more tidy, they look random.
Thanks! Yes, I considered the randome look of the camouflage, too, but its real hard to find an middleway between boring and fuzzy...but someday i will change it, promised!

Quoting Tim C This is turning out great, Stephan. So many great details. I love the cockpit and the layout of the common area behind. The folding wings are a nice touch, and I will be forever envious if you pull off a landing gear that operates with the wings. Can't wait to see it finished.
Very kind words, thank you! A good cockpit is always important. Maybe i will get the landinggear until sunday ready.
