Dragons are just big dogs, right?

Category 29 - How to Train your Dragon:
Not from the movie but a generalization. Build us a scene depicting your “hero” training his dragon. Is he successful or is the dragon just going to eat him and be done with it? Or maybe dragons are the new “dogs” of your world and you’re simply trying to get him to relieve himself on the paper instead of your couch this time? So show us your best depiction of training a dragon, whatever that may be.

Ivan's parents always warned him about how dragons were evil, but after he ran into one in a forest clearing his life changed forever. He met a dragon called a Redler and nicknamed it Moog, an old word from the language his ancestors spoke that meant "flying lizard." From that day on he and Moog became closer and closer...

Ivan once tried to train Moog to fly but that didn't work out too well...

Fourth wall: Whoo! First MA build posted! Glad I finally got one up! This build was actually inspired by a Zoid called the Redler. Reference pics can be found here. Since the category required me to make a dragon, and I figured I'd pull double duty and make it a Zoid as well. I quite like the design considering my lack of purple System parts that aren't tiles.

Comments, rates, and constructive criticism are appreciated! KP out!

Nice work, I really love the fusion of technic and system parts on the dragon! Plus, bonus points for using purple.

The design of the dragon is just impeccable and the clever use of the tan technic pins really adds to the creativity and cleverness of the build.

The dragon is quite simplistic in design, but it does make him look that much more adorable. Score: 3

Quoting JosephC 123 I saw this on the front page, and I thought it was a zoid moc!!!! Then I read the description and went Huhh? I kept frowning and my computer screen until I read the commentary. I instantly recognized the Zoid, due to having the exact model and color on my dresser. Would it be possible to post it as a Zoid moc as well? It is very well done and I wish you luck in the contest!!!
It actually is a Zoid, I just stuck it in a dio for the MA. I've got it up as a seperate Zoid on Flickr but I'll be sure to repost the images of it here soon.
