RUN! IT'S A DOOM TURTLE! Wait, wait. It's just a T28. ... RUN! IT'S A T28!
About this creation

The Super Heavy Tank T28 was a prototype tank destroyer designed for the U.S. Army. The TD was later re-designated as the 105mm Gun Moter Carriage T95. The tracks could be removed for easier transport of the vehicle. This model was fun but took a LONG time, mostly because I built it entirely from scratch, and the first iteration got the proportioning COMPLETELY wrong and had to be rebuilt. Also, my LDD has a disturbing tendacy to crash and delete some of my progress, which led to me quitting the build in frustration.

However, I finally finished. Enjoy!

doom turtle, or T95, i get behind it in my scouts, and it dead, no two ways about it, great build, the tracks look as though they may be 1 stud to skinny in width though, but maybe not, just remember the T95 uses 4 tracks...

Great build, the part that I don't like about the WOT model of it is that it is similar but nothing close to the historical T-28. The main differences are that this has a frontal drive and HVSS suspension, and the gun mount on the T-28 is mounted lower with a bigger mantlet .

Ah, A super heavy tanků reminds me of Germany's failed invasion of Russia, in which their tanks ran amuck due to the VERY thick plate armor. I like this build very much, and I think that those renderings do it justice!

Very nice T28/T95! (I tend to call it the T95 so I don't confuse it with the Russian T28 medium)

Awesome model! Superheavy tanks may be totally impractical, but they sure do make for an interesting build.

Quoting Alex Sonny Nice! Now for a quick history lesson: this T28 is unhistorical, T28 and T95 were the same thing, and T28 never had that front ledge - it was just the T95 without the outmost track pair. Although I'm sure you knew that. Anyhow, this is a wonderful model, especially if designed after the one in the game. Oh and for more accurate viewing I reccomend using this http://tankinspector.sinaapp.com it lets you view any tank from the game! I can't wait for T95!
Yes, I already knew that, but I'm too much of a lazy bum to write a history lesson myself without copying directly from wikipedia. And yep, I love tank inspector <3. I've been using it since I started the first large scale models I built. It's so helpful, especially for seeing soft stats and armor values. Thanks!
