T-26 Model 1933 Tank
The T-26 tank was a Soviet light infantry tank used during many conflicts of the 1930s and in World War II. It was a development of the British Vickers 6-Ton tank and was one of the most successful tank designs of the 1930s until its light armor became vulnerable to newer anti-tank guns. It was produced in greater numbers than any other tank of the period, with more than 11,000 manufactured.
About this creation

I wouldn't say I'm overly satisfied with how this model turned out. The body is a bit higher than it was supposed to be and the road wheels/suspension is simply ridiculous. Anyway, I hope this model inspires you guys to build a better version.

Very recognizable, well done!

Nice work. It has the problems mentioned before, but few things in LEGO, hey, even in life, are perfect. Great job.

Nice turret solution in such a small scale. I think this tank with its weird angles and forms would deserve to build in bigger scale.

Quoting Alex Sonny Very interesting! While you got the number of roadwheels wrong, the shape of the tracks is instantly recognisable. The turret would be perfect without the lower part cylinders, but this is very good nonetheless.
Thank you! I'm sorry, I couldn't get the roadwheels/suspension right. I just couldn't find a solution at this scale and gave up. About the turret, now when you said it, I have no idea why I've put so many round plates below the turret :)

Quoting Matt Bace Other than being just a tad too tall, as you noted, I think this model is spot on. Really nice job!
Thank you! :)

Quoting Joao Campos From my (very) limited experience, tanks are not generally easy to replicate in LEGO, mostly because of some odd shapes and angles of their main panels. Nevertheless, IMO you did a very good job in that all key details and bits'n'pieces are there. I also agree that the whole body is a little too tall, and also that the top part of the track is a little too steep; maybe that would be arranged if you could make the tank a bit longer, perhaps just one more stud?...
Thank you! You are absolutely right. The track is too steep at this scale. Unfortunately, a stud longer wouldn't be enough. The solution would be to make the whole tank at a larger scale (twice bigger). About tank building in general, one cannot create all shapes and details. It is enough to pick the most noticeable features (sometimes exaggerate them), so that the model is instantly recognizable. And the most important part - keep the correct size ratios - body_width/length/height/track_width - and you are almost done :)
