Hi all, this Shell Art Deco Style Gas Station was built in March 2013. It is part of a larger project named "ER0L's Garage" (see the Diner) which isn't finished yet - just postponed due to more important things (e. g. moving cars). "ER0L's Garage" will be part of the future town, of course.

Oops, didn't recognize there are some more comments in the meantime. Thanks a lot! @Harry: Glad you like it! I'm no interior guy, you know, but this was fun, since it is car related ... ;-) @Oran: Thanks Oran. I see. Yeah, that's possible. Thanks again for the part number. @Nico: Glad you like it! @Sinan: Thanks mate! @Harrison: Thanks a lot! @DiT: Thanks you! Glad you like it that much. The SNOT pavement isn't my idea, but yeah, like this you omit all the issues you get with regular baseplates. @Malte: Thx!

I am not sure but I think what eric was talking about was this part, maybe, but I will put my two cents in and post this (2362b - Panel 1 x 2 x 3 - Hollow Studs): http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2362b eric s March 14, 2014 "have you tried inserting brick combinations into the inside of one of those 2-brick tall, hollow 'wall bricks'?"

Is that a phone on the counter? That little black thing? Wow! That is such a cool idea. The whole thing is really quite beautiful. Where most would accept defeat in the curvature of sidewalk corners, you have said "NO!" The curb where the pump sits is what I'm talking about. The curved corners are great and such an important little detail. Keep it up man! I love your work!

THIS IS FANTASTIC! <<edit:>> the skylight is wonderful, and the color transitions are so organic resembling a closer degree of realism to real life! your shop shelves = great. have you tried inserting brick combinations into the inside of one of those 2-brick tall, hollow 'wall bricks'? Quoting Dr. Monster Amazing. I love the art deco style and you've captured it beautifully. I hope they got change for that hundo that the blonde dropped.
Thank you! As already said (see below) there's something going on there ... Hopefully the policeman is one of the good cops.

@Nils: Thanks bud! @Henrik: Thank you, glad to hear it hasn't gone out of fashion! @Sven: Thanks pal! Yeah, it's nostalgic, but I can't help it. There were times when a good design was much more important than nowadays - even for a gas station ... @Eric: THANKS! @clayton: Thank you very much! Interiors aren't my cup of tea, to be honest, since you don't see much of them from the outside of a building. But since this is car related I did have fun with it. @gene: Thank you very much!

Thanks a lot guys. Something is wrong with the homepage, it obviously has something to do with the loss of the first like that new MOCs are kicked. But well ... it's more important what you think about the Gas Station. @Vinny, Michael, Benjamin, Dennis, Chris: Thanks a lot! @Frank: I'd love to do that one day ... ;-) @Nick: Thank you! You know, I'm not a fan of Shell or something, it's just the colours and that there are quite a few nice printed bricks. Glad you like the cars. They make no difference between brands ... ;-) @James: Thank you, there are quite a few projects, you sometimes don't know where to begin! @David, Starscream Soundwave: Thanks a lot guys, glad you like it! @SF: Yeah, it was in that competition. There's indeed an inspiration, I'll try to find a suitable link. Baseplatelessness is what the town will be based upon ... We completely omit baseplates and roadplates. @Cheryl: Thanks a lot. Well observed. Yeah, that sum is quite unusual. But there is something going on there, you can see a police officer and a black truck with some guys in black suits. I let my figs do what they want to do (it's their town), but sometimes it's a bit annoying ... @Karol, Nathan, Marin, XY: Glad you like it! @Hot: Thanks, well, that's okay for me ... ;-) @sam, T.J., adam: Thanks a lot guys!
