LOM Freebuild: Assault
A freebuild for the Lands of Mythron!
About this creation
Name: Sir Zachariah of Lucia
Faction: The noble Kingdom of Mythron.
Story: Our hero has finally arrived at Sisera, a Mythronian outpost in the Western Mountains of Mythron...

I slowly walk down the path, the outpost has been in sight for about an hour. As I near it, a man around the age of forty steps out to greet me.

Man: Greetings Zachariah! We've been expecting you. My name is colonial Turner and welcome to Sisera. This little fort isn't much, but you'll be calling it home soon.

Me: How'd you know my name?

Turner: I am an old friend with your father, I heard he would make some connections to have you sent here.

Me: Really? That's... interesting. I think.

Turner (laughing): Follow me, I'll show you your quarters.

Turning, the old, battle-worn, warrior walks off. Smiling I follow him inside. I could call this outpost home.

After I had been shown my quarters, I head out to the battlements with Turner. It has begun to rain.

Turner: Rain. Finally. We need it.

Turner looks out over the valley, then a frown crosses his face. I looked out to where he was pointing. In the woods, figures were moving. Turner walked over and whispered something into a soldiers ear. The soldier saluted, than ran off.

Me: What's going on?

Turner: Outlaws.

A shiver runs down my spine. We could be in a LOT of trouble.

Turner looks out over the valley.

Turner: HERE THEY COME!

Multiple outlaws had begun to rush the outpost. My hand tightens around my spear. This is it.

Multiple outlaws had reached the stairs by now, several Nerogueians ran up to meet them. I began to feel nervous, this situation doesn't look good. We are extremely outmatched.

Turner: Take them out!

The Mythronian bowman on the battlement next to us nodded, and fitted an arrow into his bow. He then began letting loose, taking out multiple Outlaws.

As multiple Outlaws approached the stairs, the archer began too take on the Outlaws closer to the fort.

Outlaw: Argh!

One of the Nerogueians charged to meet one of the Outlaws, but he was too hasty...

...The Outlaw swung his blade, taking the Nerogueian's head off. I looked down in horror as the mans head rolled back against the door.

Screaming in rage, the other Nerogueian charged the Outlaw. He drew his sword back...

...And brought it down forcefully, cutting the Outlaws arm off. I was shocked, I had never been in a combat situation before, this was far different than what I though it would be.

As the Outlaws body fell down the stairs, the Nerogueian looked down, a new challenger approached, a dwarf charged up the stairs. He and the Elf locked weapons.

The Dwarf suddenly drew back his axe, and forcefully rammed it into the Elf's stomach.

More Outlaws began attacking as the Elf dropped. I looked down, still shocked. We were losing.

Turner however, kept his cool. He looked out, and ordered the archer too take out as many Outlaws he can.

Outlaws are still falling, but not quickly enough. Several Outlaws have made it to the tower and are ascending it at this very moment.

The towers door burst open as two Outlaws ran onto the battlements.

One of the Outlaws has in his possession a crossbow, he launches the arrow straight at my head. I duck and the arrow passed over my head. The archer behind me isn't so lucky.

Running up I draw my sword. This is going to be it. My first kill in war.

Slicing forward, my blade impales the Outlaw in the stomach.

Raising my blade I prepare to take on the dwarf. He growls, and charges me.

Bringing down my blade, I kill him instantly. My blade has gone through his brain.

I turn around and face the colonial.

Me: What happens now?

Turner: We need to leave. There are passageways through the mountains, we will take those.

Me: What happens now?

Turner: We escape. We tell. War may be on hand. This assault will not be taken lightly by the Mythronian government.

I turn around. The final remaining soldiers are being slain on the battlements. Turning, I run after Turner. We need to hurry...

~EPILOGUE~

Cloaked figure: It has begun, the Black Lotus has risen. We will destroy Mythron, and rule all!

The cloaked figure turns. A light shines on the warriors face. A smirk appears on his face.

Freeling: For the Black Lotus!

The End?

~bonus pics~

Tidbits: Well, here we are! My latest (and greatest) build! Man oh man! I LOVE this build! Not only does it look great, it is the best build I have ever done! I hope you liked it, and if you were wondering about Freelings appearance, then you will just have to keep wondering! Hehehehe....

Quoting Gilbert Despathens I wish you built more frequently, because you're very good at it. I'm also curious as to what you're doing with Freeling, because I'm normally the staff-group spider who knows much and sees all.
I build frequently, posting, not so much. I am planning to post another build today or tomorrow. And on what I'm doing with Freeling? Hehehehehehee.

Quoting Jonah The Befuddled(Fell of the earth) Exceptional build.... I saw in the comments that you were taking the photos outside? Why do your outdoors photos look great while the lighting looks awful on mine? Must be my photography. Also, I wondered what you use as a backdrop/ if you use an editing program to white it, what's the program? Thanks, Jonah
Thanks! As it was raining, it was actually cloudy when I took the pics! :P My camera has a special feature thing that can adjust the brightness of the area you are in. Try looking for that, most cameras have them. ~Zach
