About this creation
Hello again!

MOCathalon

Judges: Please refer to this video! At about the one minute mark, it shows what I'm building for. I know, the Slattern isn't there at that point, but it doesn't need to be completely accurate to the movie.

Link

The scene I was building for included Gypsy and Striker saving the world. This is the part where they travel the The Breach, which is in the Pacific Ocean. Under the sea!!

It was actually fun to build.

The reason I didn't put more marine life and whatnot in is because, well, the jaegers are 200+ feet tall. A shark would be smaller than a 1x1.

The jaegers, Striker Eureka and Gypsy Danger.

One of the three kaiju to appear in this scene: Slattern.

The rocks! I was quite proud of them.

In three different areas on the face here, I used hinged pieces to create a slant. I was a little apprehensive about it maybe jutting out too much but I decided to go with it, and it looks nice.

A bit of the landscape.

The jaegers! This is Striker Eureka. This jaeger is 280 feet tall in the movie, and building it at this enormously small scale was massively challenging, but I pulled through and did it.

Back.

Gypsy Danger. Again, hard to build because of the size.

Back.

Landscape.

Alex, interesting take in the category. Your reason for not providing much sea life and such is perfectly reasonable and acceptable. The Jaegers were very nicely executed. Score: 3
