Apothrahk
Ahhhh, though I don't usually do it, I do really like the fun and challange of building a Rahkshi MOC. This is one which made it past the prototype stage; Apothrahk, the Rahkshi of gravity!
About this creation

I don't normally do this, but here is an alternative "Main Photo". Usually I delete these, but I like this shot so much I thought I show it to you anyway. It was a very hard choice, but I decided to use the other one, because I felt it suited my purpose a little better.

Anyway;

Apothrahk:

Apothrahk is a Rahkshi of Gravity created by Makuta Reshak of the Sombrak. Apothrahk is noted for his strength, which is great compared to most other Rahkshi. His intelligence was average for a Rahkshi, his mind working on sound logic and a decent memory. Apothrahk has a strong sense of loyalty and respect, though his weakness is his gullibility, meaning he is easily manipulated by more dominant characters.

Apothrahk was created by Reshak around the same time as he created Thisrahk and turned Dukrina into a Toa. Apothorahk spent the first few weeks of his life training with Thisrahk and Dukrina, under Reshak's advice. Makuta Aroxion remained oblivious to the existance of these three. Shortly afterwards, Reshak sent his three servants away into hiding, after hearing his "father" announce that the Sombrak would organise a seige on Racta Major.

Apothorahk currently still travels with Dukrina and Thisrahk, waiting for Reshak to summon them back again. His current location is unknown.

Here he is! When I originally built this, I wasn't planning on making this a Rahkshi, and I was infact trying to build another MOC. After building him, I decided I didn't like the character, and so I tried dissassembling him. I did want to keep the torso though, and I realised I could build a Rahkshi spine on the back of it, (the original didn't have a spine) and so I built Apothrahk.

The back.

A good look from the sides, to see the spine.

What Rahkshi is complete without a staff?

It can be spit into two, as well...

I don't know if you noticed, but I gave him a lower jaw. I know Rahkshi jaws work a little differently to mammal jaws, but the gaping hole where his chin should be really bugged me.

Poor Windbird.

Battlin' the Jankori.

Duelin' with Tyranca.

Whoa... that got dark quickly...

Having a shouting contest with the Flyer Beast.

With his close guide, Dukrina.

I think you're gonna like my next MOC (or MOCs... there's your little clue...)

That's all folks!

Quoting Toa Chains I don't know how i missed this. Anyway, nice moc! I quite like how he can open and close his mouth. Only problem is his spine, like spencer said, it just doesn't flow. I think you should try his spine again and then he will be great!
Thanks, yeah, I don't think people like the spine too much :P

Quoting Stormjay Rider Per Spencer: and allow me to plug my own Rahkshi for a spine example. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/380435
Thanks man, that's a really nice design, but I don't think the scale would match up. I mean, Lectrahk looks a lot bigger than Apothrahk.

Thanks guys, and yeah Spencer, you mean the gap, right? Yeah, I did struggle trying to get that to work, but it didn't really work. Maybe I'll have another go at that.

Pretty cool, but the spine really doesn't flow nicely.
