An F-4B from VF-111 Sundowners crosses the ramp and aims for the #3 wire onboard the carrier, while the LSO team directs his approach and prepares to wave him off if necessary. My first rendered scene, an experiment to see what I can do with the software.
About this creation

Unrendered version of the scene. The text on the figure's backs was added with MSPaint after the render was complete. I would love to be able to add correct markings to the aircraft as well, such as the shark mouth on the VF-111 Phantoms, NAVY markings, national insignia, and the ubiquitous and ever present Navy safety markings all over the aircraft, but I am not sure how to as of yet. In the background are two Vought A-7A Corsair II's parked on the starboard fantail, and ahead of them another VF-111 F-4B.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Awesome design work on the tail!
Thanks. I may go back and re-do the tail all in white, and add the "Sundowners" markings with Gimp instead. I think it would look much better without the jagged appearance the brick version has.

Quoting James Donovan Fantastic! your Phantom is top notch! I love it!!!!
Thanks! This picture really showcases it well I feel, and you get the second head on view of the one parked in the background, along with a size comparison to my A-7 next to it.

Quoting Matt Bace Just fantastic! You can't help but love the Sundowners' tail markings.
I just wish I could add their trademark sharks mouth on the nose as well.

Quoting Kurt's MOCs Great scene. I love the tail art. Well done!
Will have to re-render it with a transparent background so I can add in a picture of an Adams-Class Destroyer in the background and a realistic sky.
