Heard that one a million times. But, show us YOUR best reason for not having it to hand in. Did it get caught in the garage door opener? Did you get attacked by a bus full of angry penguins? What's your excuse, mister?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a dark and stormy night in the small town of Suburbville. Child genius Arnold Ficklesworth was working on his latest chemical concoction in his basement laborator as his pet Chihuahua Barky watches curiously. tHe was getting so close to creating a formula for reanimation, he though he shouldn't have to go to school so he can pursue his experiments. He takes a quick glance at his homework on his lab table.
"Ha!" He scoffs at the simplicity of the assignment, he never does his homework, it's basically an insult to his advanced mind. His mother's harsh voice echoes from upstairs, alerting him to go to bed.

He scowls at his mother, she should know what 6am is not too late for a child genius to stay up to. However he decides he will work better tomorrow with his refreshed brain.

As he turns to head upstairs to his room, he doesn't realize the bubbles appearing in his beaker on his desk.

The violent appearance of the bubbles causes the beaker to fall over and splash onto his homework!

The bubbles cause the paper to fall to the ground is it starts to emit huge bubbles, and wait- is that an arm!?

Arnold Ficklesworth enters his room as he ponders advanced theoretic quantum physics. He curses under his breath as he jumps into his bed as his Chihuahua Barky curls up on the bed.

Dreams of algebra danced in Arnold's head as a loud bang wakes him from his sleep. He aims a flashlight towards the door, and it almost seemed as though the handle was trying to turn, he ignored it and the blamed the Sulphuric Oxide gas he was working with. He closed his eyes to go back to sleep when suddenly...

A giant monster bursts through Arnold's wall and roars loudly! He stares Arnold in the eyes and yells,
"You didn't complete me! You will pay for that!"
Arnold shudders in fear and calculates what was in front of him. The 3 equally spaced holes... the blue vertical lines... the small bend near the bottom... it must be:
"My homework!"

The monster shuffles towards the bed as Arnold cowers. He sticks out an arms and snatches Arnold's Chihuahua Barky with a swift stroke.

He then does the unspeakable and lowers him into his menacing jaws! Arnold shouts but it was too late.

(The following contains scenes which may be too graphic for some, and I don't want animal rights activists knocking at my door so I have chosen not to include them)

As the monster leaves with a belly full of dog (who knew paper had a fine taste for Chihuahua?) Arnold stands on top of his bed, still in shock, and says to himself:
"I wonder what my teacher will say when I tell her what happened to my homework."

THE END

A clear shot of the bedroom.

A clear shot of the homework monster.
