Lego Elevator - NXT Powered
Here I present a minifig-scale real working Lego Elevator! Powered by NXT 2.0
About this creation
This is a fully working Lego elevator for minifigs. It's been done for quite a while I just have had problems uploading the video. But I finally have been able to post it!

The elevator is powered by the NXT 2.0 Lego robot.
My elevator features buttons to take the elevator up and down. There are lights in the elevator carriage for an extra effect! Also, when the carriage reaches each floor, the door will automatically open.

I made two scenes with the same base elevator moc. The first of which is a store, and the second being a museum break-in. The reason I did the scene was to liven the moc up and to steer away from an utterly grey moc.

Well here is the video!

Here is the first set up I did of the store:

This photo feature one of my favorite small creations I have ever built, The Gumball machine:

Alrighty, now for the museum break in! Hope you like it:

With nothing:

Now you get to see the behind the scenes part of this moc!

Will he fit?

Yep, he did... (how?!)

And lets end with the soda machine (sticker from Sean Kenny!) and the Gumball machine with a minifig for scale!

Thanks so much for looking!
God Bless

Nice one! From experience, I know that it is pretty hard to work with mindstorms, so great job!

Quoting Caleb R. Little do we know that there is a guy on all three floors. All you did was make the door open. Hahaha, just kidding, nice work.
Yeah I know it can look like that, but it's not true, It does actually work. If you watch the video, the section that is in the dark, you can sort of see through the cracks the chamber moving from floor to floor. Thanks for looking though!

A terrific modern building. I really appreciated the clean lines with some interesting little details. I really liked your elevator, blue skylight windows, and especially the gumball machine.
