Transformers ...more than meets the eye.
About this creation
This is a small fun former based on the original G1 autobot minibot Gears. Since I am waiting for parts for my Trypticon project I though a little mini fun would be in order. Enjoy!

this one I think I'd let my godson fiddle with - chunky and sturdy
Quoting David Roberts I think that this chunky transformer looks great. I looks robust and tough enough to be a real toy for kids to play with and enjoy. I like the way you've made the lower ball joint on its legs.

I think he's refering to the textuured part of the forearm. If i'm not mistaken, it's a 1x2 textured brick.

it's just ratchet pieces - in the shoulder and elbows - nothing terribly fancy
Quoting Oroton Lost your creations always inspire me to try new techniques. One thing though, How do you do the arm? Looks like the key piece is the hand and you've built from there but I still can't figure out what you've used for the for arm the grill looking tile to have that connect. Great work as always.

Funny, i was only thinking about having a go at Gears for my next Legoformer project. I spotted the Generations figure by Hasbro and was interested in seeing what I could do with it. I had the original figure and you have definitely captured the spirit of the toy.

Great Transformer. It looks easy to build and it is not hard to transform. Would probably be a good set for younger children. Good work.

The lower legs are an excellent chunky version. Very cool.
