About this creation
IMG_9363
I walked quickly through the forest, Shaddowhawk behind me, and several Mythronian soldiers at my side.

IMG_9366
I turned around, and rubbed Shadowhawk's head quietly.
"We're almost there, so go find a nice area where you can rest and stay safe."
He whinnied softly in reply and trotted away.

IMG_9367
"Alright guys, form up. We don't know who or what is out here."
My men quickly formed up around me. We started to walk once more through the forest.

IMG_9371
A figure stepped out from behind a tree.
"Stop in the name of Rainos," he shouted out to us.
My bowmen and I pullde back our bows, and everyone stepped into a well defensible position.
"Rainos holds no power here," I replied angrily, "Now step out of the way, boy."
"I am no boy," he said, also very angry now, "I am an officer in the army of Glorious Rainos."
"What are you doing here then?"
"We are here as a rear guard for the raid that is happening right now. We are to slow down any enemies who threaten the success of our mission."
"We?"

IMG_9372
Suddenly a group of well armed Rainosians stepped out into the light. I muttered a few elvish curses, as I had hoped that he was the only one there.
"You have no chance," he said smugly, "Leave now and no harm will come to your men."
"We cannot leave, we are on a mission given to us by the king himself."
"So be it."

IMG_9374
Before he could do anything and possibly overwhelm us, I yelled to my archers one word, even as I already pulled back on my own bow, "Fire!"

IMG_9375
Even as I did so, the knight was shouting for his men to raise their shields, and without any hesitation they lifted their shields up to block our shots. Our bows rang out several times. I let loose three shots in rapid succession.

IMG_9376
Only one of my arrows did anything. One of his men had been a little slow, and my arrow buried its head into his neck.

IMG_9377
He fell backward and lay in a steadily growing pool of blood.

IMG_9378
My archers took aim at the remaining troops.
"It appears we are at an impasse," He said quietly.
"Not quite," I replied.

IMG_9382
I shifted my aim towards the man at the end, who looked the most nervous. I pulled back my bow and shot.

IMG_9385
The arrow flashed through the air, slamming into his shield. He cried out and fell backward, letting his shield down as he did so.

IMG_9386
He struggled to raise it back up in time, even as my second arrow, which I had fired immediately after the first, bit into his neck.

IMG_9387
The man, now quite angry at me for killing two of his men so quickly, shouted to his men, "Spears!"

IMG_9388
The warning that I tried to shout to my men died in my mouth as the two spears soared through the air, before slamming into my men.

IMG_9389
I reached up to grab another arrow, but found that my quiver was empty.

IMG_9390
The man next called out to his men, "Draw swords!"

IMG_9391
His men quickly advanced and attacked me and another Mythronian. I grabbed some arrows from the dead orc's quiver and started firing at him.

IMG_9394
While I fought that man, my other soldier advanced towards the knight, who stood there laughing.

IMG_9396
The Mythronian swung his sword, which the knight easily blocked. He was easily more skilled then the Mythronian and blocked each attack that the man made.

IMG_9397
By some stroke of luck, my soldier knocked the sword out of his hand.

IMG_9399
The man, who was laughing now, drew a short sword and a small knife. My soldier enraged charged towards him.

IMG_9400
He brought his sword down toward the head of the Rainosian warrior. The knight lifted the short blade and, supporting it with his knife, blocked the Mythronian's sword.

IMG_9402
He pulled his sword back and jabbed forward at the warrior, who easily sidestepped.

IMG_9403
The Rainosian shoved him back up against a tree and stabbed him with both blades.

IMG_9404
The soldier slumped to the ground as the warrior went and retrieved his sword.

IMG_9405
I saw this, and knew that I would have to defeat him.I pulled back my bbow, and aiming, shot not at the warrior I as currently engaging, but the other one, who had unknowingly exposed his backside to me. I fired.

IMG_9406
The soldier surged forward, knowing that was my last arrow and thinking that I had missed my target. He failed to notice my remaining soldier, aiming his sword at him.

IMG_9407
The Rainosian smiled at us.
"That was a nice attack, now, who wants the honor of being killed first?"
My last soldier started forward, but I stooped him.
"I shall handle this."

IMG_9408
I walked toward him, swinging my sword.
"Ah good," he said, "A challenge."

IMG_9409
I swung my sword and he easily blocked it.
"You're good," I said to him.

IMG_9410
I swung again.
"You're amazing!" He shouted at me happily, "I haven't fought someone this good in ages!"

IMG_9411
He swung at me and I blocked easily.

IMG_9412
He swung and I blocked again.

IMG_9413
I swung once more, and even as I did that, shifted my sword so that the hilt slammed into his chest, knocking the wind out of him.

IMG_9414
While he was struggling to breathe, I swung the flat of the sword at his head.

IMG_9415
I grabbed my bow, and a quiver of arrows from one of the bodies.
"We need to go."

IMG_9416
We ran for the wedding.

The Build:
IMG_9417
Simple, I know, but I wanted to not do something to big before the MA.

IMG_9418
I really like this tree.

IMG_9419
How I connected it.

IMG_9420
The bigger tree. Not my favorite.

IMG_9423
ME!

IMG_9424
This guy. He's pretty much the anti-me, what I would be if I were a Rainosian.

IMG_9425
The Mythronians.
Living one: HOW ARE YOU GUYS STILL ALIVE!!!

Woo, that was long.

I like the story and build's pretty good. The landscaping /is/ too bare for my taste, though. But good job with the snow on the bush and the plants at the base of the trees. And speaking of the trees, the smaller one looks good but the larger is too square. You should use the technique I supplied in the AG group! :P

Me thinks it would have been much better if you had covered the studs up better. Cool scene though!

The Rainosians should have won. I like the small tree, but not the big one. also, the landscape seems a little bland.
