About this creation
Built for sam the firstís 15 piece vehicle challenge .

Due to budgetary problems and global warming (I think) the rules for this year's Formula 15 season restricts participants to use only 15 pieces. Unfortunately due to this restriction the most important piece, the driver, has been sacrificed. As the cars are going nowhere without the driver the teams have focused on aesthetics rather than function and strength. There are few single stud connections which would not normally be accepted but compromises had to be made somewhere ;).

Loosely based on my F1 Wides.

Exploded view of the 15 pieces used

Oh dear, seems like Formula 1 really didn't take kindly to the future. :p Looks very good, though. I can hardly tell you were under a restricted part budget.

Quoting Nick Barrett In pole position, surely... the use of colour is what I like most about this. This is a great contest, well done sam! :-)
For sure. The blue and green combo is Reminiscent of united colours of benetton when Schumacher was driving for them. Hope he recovers soon

Colors work well... together and highlighting the number of pieces. And that barrier fencing is so simple yet ideal ! :)

There was a reason why you are one of my favorite builders. Your creations are innovative and fresh. Especially this one. Good use of 15 pieces.

Thanks guys. @ MC - haha don't worry lets pretend it is remote controlled ;). @ Jme - Thanks, I see what you mean the light is creating the perfect transition. Completely done on purpose ;)

Awesome build economy! I especially love your opening shot. The angle and lighting make the orange slope of the engine cowling look like a smooth gradient from yellow to red!

If you can, you can add a driver. My entry had me worried and Sam said it was cool because they were just for show parts. He's only looking for the vehicle, unless the scale can have a driver and it's possible and it is added? I don't know. I haven't done much in the group, so I don't know what questions have or have not been answered.

Thanks guys. Getting it down from 28 (my F1 wides) to 16 pieces was tricky but losing the last piece was very tough, then the solution presented itself. Unfortunately I had to lose the upside down rear wing I am still pleased with the result.
