- Robin Hood
Who doesn't admire the skillful archer with a witty sense of humor? "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (linked in the comment below) was probably the most famous of all Robin Hood movies. Build a scene from the movie or your imagination of a scene from the main story plot. The build must feature Robin Hood. This is a pretty broad category, so have fun and get building!
*Robin gives a quick sulute and then jumps down from the tree*
"You've traveled far this morning." King richard *in disguise*,"Too far to be patient of delay now." Robin replied,"Perhaps it's the weight of your purse that worries you, but I can remedy that. You give me your purse and if it weighs more than a just amount I'll share it with those who have less, come." King Richard sternly replied,"You think I hand my purse to every rough out who asks for it?"
*Robin gives a quick wave of the hand*
The men on horseback find themeselves surround with Robin's Merry Men.
"You see sir, we're only poor outlaws with nothing to eat but the king's deer. While you have property, rents, and silver...so, your purse?" "Well, I've traveled far on the king's bussiness, the coins in my purse are no more than sixty marks." Another outlaw speaks up,"What, are you friendly to our good King Richard?""I love no man," replied Richard.
Robin enters the conversation again, "Then you save half your money. Give me but 30 marks for the poor and the rest is yours." "And then I may go free," asked Richard. "Any friend of Richard is free in this forest," replied Robin.
Robin quickly asked,"Will you honor us by sharing meet with us?" "Gladly, let come."
Nice build, though I've got to say that four trees on each side, the same distance apart from a each other and the same size, on the edge of a road with a very uniform zigzag pattern...is much too symmetrical for my taste. :P great landscaping, though! Definitely the strong point of the entry. I just wish there were some overhead shots so we could see it better. Oh, but nice figs! That Rboin Hood is spot-on (to how I imagined him, at least. :P)
The trees look absolutely amazing! I'm not too sure about that backlit photography, though; it's pretty tough to make out the figs. Also, I think you ought to have added the extra foliage, since real forests with enough sunlight for grass to grow are usually bursting over with other plants, too :)
