Growing from it's roots in Vietnam as the OH-6 Cayuse, the newer MH-6 and AH-6 Little Bird helicopters have proved themselves to be one helluva workhorse helicopter. Being able to adapt from light transport to attack, the Little Bird may be lacking in size but sure isn't lacking in ability!
About this creation
Developing from the Vietnam era OH-6 Cayuse (otherwise known as the "Loach"), the AH-6 "Little Bird" has become quite well known. Most often used by Special Forces units due to its high maneuverability and low noise level, it is synonymous with modern warfare. It can be readily altered to perform light transport, as well as ground attack, and even perform anti-air duties. With its extreme versatility and multiple capabilities, it's no wonder the Little Bird has survived and been adapted over the years.
This model is small, but packs a punch! It has stub wings with AA rockets, and GAU-17 miniguns for ground attack. Though the real thing has 5 rotor blades, I cannot find a suitable method on LDD that allows me to incorporate a 5th blade. Of course if I built this IRL I would add in a 5th blade using another method for the rotors. I would also make a better construction for the canopy, as the one shown here isn't exactly to my liking :P
