LOM RC: Minotaur
About this creation
Shcranzcss, Taur and Natilus were making their way downward to Falmor. They had been assigned to look for a Mythronian official and remove him by a Rainosian Nobleman, and were being payed highly for the job.

They were walking along a river, about to cross it over a small bridge...

When Taur saw someone at the other side and stopped in his tracks.

The others stopped, too, and Natilus asked: "What's the matter, Taur?"

The Lady Taur had seen turned around. Taur gasped, almost inaudibly, and the orc Lady winked at him.

Then she turned around again.
"Wow." Taur whispered.

Taur turned to the others. "Shcranzcss..." he started, but then he hesitated.
"What?" Shcranzcss asked.
"Do you... do you have something that will make me more impressive?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know... more... ah... likeable?"
Shcranzcss almost laughed, but bit back on it. Natilus put his face in his hand and sighed.
"I know just the thing!" Shcranzcss said.

He applied something to Taur's horns...

And they started getting longer! They got longer and longer, until they were longer than an arm!
"Yup, that'll do." Shcranzcss said.

The orc lady turned again, to see what was going on on the other side of the bridge...

And saw a large, muscular minotaur with a giant battle axe and giant horns lumbering over the bridge!
"Hello" he said. "My name is Taur."
"I'm Annra" the orc Lady said back.

The Lady stepped up onto the bridge. "Hello."

***

The whole Vignette. I experimented in colors, using no normal green, only dark green and olive. It looks pretty good... The water and bridge are from Derfel Cadarn's guide to making a medieval village on eurobricks, and the barrel tree is nothing new, so this moc is really just a little landscaping and a mildly funny story.

Another angle.

The Bridge. It looks pretty nice, but I've seen this design more often than I can count, so it isn't anything special.

The Border. I am experimenting with more elaborate borders currently, but this one is pretty simple.

The tree.

And a largely unedited picture of Annra and Taur. It had to be unedited for the horns to be visible.

***

Well, more landscaping practice and some colors is basically all this moc is. I had the idea of the story a while ago, but this situation is perfect for it. Otherwise, there is really not much to it. Although, for it's simpleness, it looks pretty good... I hope you liked it!

Nice landscaping! Bubbles or some sort of additional texture on the water would look better, though.

Quoting A M The way the base follows the natural contours of the landscape was an awesome idea!
Thanks! I don't think I was the first to use it though...

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga The story is hilarious, and the colors look very tropical and pleasing! The light blue works especially well with the browns and the olive green!
Thanks! I am not sure I would categorize the colors as tropical, though. :P
