Here comes the latest of my mini-fig scaled vehicles from the original Halo-series (made by Bungie Studios).
Those who tried, might agree that Covenant vehicles in general are difficult to build due to their curvy shapes (not to mention the lack of suitable colours). This beast, however, was particularly difficult to design (I spend most of the time with the LDD and order pieces when I'm done).
... but I'm also a slow builder, which could totally be the reason why it took me so long to get this project finished.

The Spectre is designed for infantry support. The gunner position in the back is equipped with an automatic plasma cannon and passengers can ride on the wings, though these positions offer rather limited protection.
It has its first and only appearance in Halo 2 (I hoped to see it in Reach again, but what can you do about it ... the Revenant is great, too).
About this creation
... one from above ...
... and one of the underside ...
The plates surrounding the driver are held in place by a connector peg plugged into a 1x1 block with a hole, some tight building and a good deal of gravity.
Have a look inside the cock-pit.
The main view screen and the driver canopy are movable, almost exactly as they are in the game.
The passenger positions offer a good overview of the surrounding environment and some spare time for the feet, but in combat one has to rely mainly on personal shield systems and the vehicles speed.
Took me quite some time to come up with this design for the curved spikes on the rear.
The plasma turret is still somewhat large, which is, hopefully, made up by the level of detail.
All aboard! Ready for action!
"Oh, man! We are fucked!"
"Lolololaser!!!" - "Holy crap! Run!"
Hope you enjoyed it. Please, feel free to tell me want you think.
