About this creation
My entry to the 2014 Junior LEGO Olympics
Opponent: David Uberbricks
Category: Sea-spray!!
Your challenge is to show a Voyage. It can be A group of Merchant ships sailing on a trading mission or a bunch of war ships on their way to battle.

I chose to show rebels plotting an attack on a hated city. I failed at an attempt to make a ship, so that's why I made their meeting place. There are two parts to this model, or, two parts of the story. On the lower part of the MOC they're planning, and on the upper part, it shows the voyage. I think I'll let the pictures do the talking, and let my flapping tongue take a rest… :P

The ships… Thanks to my little brother for urging me to find another 1x3 angled plate instead of using a previously found 1x4 angled plate...

I really like these brick-built barrels… They're so much better than the single-piece barrels from the LEGO sets.

Oh… o:\ Never mind that… -__O

I hope you enjoyed this! Good luck, David!

Quoting Halhi 141 Actually Topher had to replace one of the judges in your bracket who had gone inactive...

Quoting Topher Adams It's a great stand alone MOC. However, you showed very little voyage. What you did show was rather minimal. Your opponent gets my vote.
Thanks! Oh no... But I don't think you're judging in my bracket. :/

Quoting David . Nice scene! The little boats up top are a nice touch. :) I wouldn't comment outside judging but you're not in my bracket. ;) Lol to the fish, I saw a guy catch a fish, then to kill it he pretty much bludgeoned it's head with a wrench. XD
Thanks, David! Hehe… Sorta gross. :P But hey, you've gotta do what you gotta do! (At least he didn't dump it in a bucket and shoot it with a 22. :P)

The boards that "hang" off the end gives this MOC a nicer presentation in my opinion. Nice work!

Quoting Anthony Wilson Great job on this! I like how you made it like a story scene, with miniature ships up the top, and great job on those barrels, I might use that in my next MOC if you don`t mind.
Thanks! No, please! I've seen that barrel technic used in various places. Feel free to use it! I don't think it's mine.
